  1. But the Lambo does average lap times stock
  2. I really don't think its that. Reason I say this is because that's how a factory GTS-R is setup. Mine runs cool as and the I/C sits close to the Rad, and is virtually the same size. I get temps of around 70 on a 25 degree day, driving it hard its lucky to get to 85 so nowhere near 100. I run no extra ducting or anything. It wasn't a triple pass like a PWR @ over 800+, it was from Race Radiators here in Melb and was around 650.
  3. Glad to hear both of you not only walked away, but with very little injury realistically. Tough to post a recount of it no doubt. Bummer bout the car though, but then it can be reborn should you want
  4. Hence why I wanna know how long he needs it for. I might know someone that would happily rent out a space in a workshop for a massively lesser amount than that
  5. Purpose built (to class), stripped race car on slicks vs mass produced, full weight street car on street tyres It'd still take the Lambo any day of the week, regardless of "lap times", development or price tag.
  6. I wouldn't call the ASI radiator decent though? That's the problem with the cheap ones, they are bigger etc, but the water runs through them too fast and they don't cool much so motorsport applications it's a struggle. A good triple-pass rad from PWR or similar is around $800 if memory serves correct, not cheap but they do exactly what they should. Could you get a better rad and make your own shroud up to suit? Or even cut one up? Wouldn't be "too" hard, just more a fiddly/time consuming job than anything else.
  7. All it puts into perspective is how futile it is to compare a race car and a street car. The ax9 is on wider slicks, more power & lighter than the VX and is still about 3 seconds behind after a 10 second delay @ the start line. If anything it's a testament to the VX to actually still be in front!
  8. How long do you plan to need to store the car? A car space is usually going to cost a reasonable amount, depends where it is etc.
  9. Trust Type R Bris, totally sealed until release. Pretty sure it's one of the largest ones too.
  10. Yeah a major and utter c0ck up on Winton's behalf, especially for Session 3 Especially given the amount of money they were paid to "organise" it... Oh well... Not much we can do unfortunately as if they are lost, they ain't coming back. Just really disappointing overall. Good times for all you guys having never been on it before.
  11. Calsonic meaning factory GTR one? Need bigger alloy one! 2-3 pass style for max effect
  12. I was being sarcastic Take a SS anyday
  13. Dennis you've been told before why - budget. Sponsors gave prizes, not cash. Funny that you firstly sooked & cried about their being "no prizes", and then there was $5000 in prizes sourced and then you went silent. Now after the event you are sooking & crying about trophies. Just for once in your life, can you grow up and behave like someone other than a 14yo girl and stop the incessant bitching about anything you don't like? Cash pays for trophies, prizes does not. That's where the majority. Simple as that, didn't see you putting your hand up to pay for any, just lots of talk whining as usual. For the record, the car that actually won the Tough as Nails trophy was actually a C110. And there were lots of older Skylines/Nissans there to represent as well. But you know, it's all about discrimination.
  14. Always a tax agent Have the best man in the business on my case!
  15. I doesn't do fast lap times though ...
  16. Time to get my wheels back from Micolour and do my Tax HELLLLOOOO big fat tax return. Just in time for xmas!
  17. Even then with a thermo, mine with 9.5ltrs takes a solid 10mins (5mins before seeing boost and then more heat) to warm up before the gauge even moves off it's pin. Generally tyres/brakes run out before the oil cries enough as well with that much oil in there.
  18. All depends on if you actually get to the top end of 4th, and what RPM is used. You can actually hit the limiter and still see a MPH increase in some instances, just depends how hard it hits. Doesn't take a genius to workout though that the car doesn't have 554kw @ the fly with a GT35 so the figures provided initially are wrong, or the calculations are. But ye for a RB 1hp = 1cc using the stock reg (for most intents/purposes). E85 obviously confuses this as do pressure adjustments.
  19. No other big 8-10lt sumps run fins as everyone with larger sumps, have oil coolers
  20. I shall log tonight mines between 25-35, but then half the time I'm not watching FRAPS, I be concentrating on killing stuffs
  21. Ye but the servers don't have as much going on in terms of map detail compared to the campaign. Given my FPS is higher in online even with my moderately old card.
  22. Online isn't anywhere near as taxing as the campaign/co-op from what I've seen
  23. Set them to personal conversation? I'm getting all of mine still, also Nightcrawler has said his stuff is all working again now too after the other day...
