  1. You can't have drift though, that would be copying Drift Matsuri! You gotta make it something no-one has ever done before
  2. haha it's just an example of an over capitalised daily Though that said I didn't have 3 passengers, was much easier to corner easily with -180kg The Racepace Tiens make all the different though I must say. Not cheap, but certainly perform the assigned task! Had i realised you had 3 people in your car you could've just chucked on in mine man!
  3. Please use the GB section, and follow the rules. Thanks.
  4. Ye the PWR one is north of 800 IIRC. Race Radiators in Melb make one, I've got one in my GTS-R. Works very well.
  5. A 2600k will do 4.5ghz on air, more than my E8400 does not on air! Really cant see a reason to water cool
  6. Was Thurs - but now Wed, gotta go interstate Date is in the title
  7. I don't think i got out of 5th for most of the cruise haha, was good, nice and relaxed
  8. I could... Anyway stick with the stock clutch fan/shroud set-up. And do NOT buy a $300 radiator of ebay. If you want it to do the job properly you'll be spending upwards of $500 for a double/triple pass item. Most will still retain factory mount/shroud & fan without a problem.
  9. you guys dont know how to use the BOM's radar view? lol
  10. Of course it does. Although same as i said to the Nats people who were worried about a bit of water... In 7 years, it has NEVER rained during the day. Morning of the Nats, pissing down @ 8am. By 10am it was clear. It's over the mountains, so weather in Melb has no bearing on what weather 2hrs north is like
  11. Bit naive to expect BW would make the wheels in house. It's bad business, that unfortunately in this case had bitten them on the bottom. Look at Computer parts for example. The integral component of NVIDIA or AMD cards, is made by a TMSC on the respective companies specification/design.
  12. A lot of people convert to the R32/R33 type as it seems to be more reliable. R34 GTR coil packs seem to fail much easier than 33/32 for this reason.
  13. 2600k is 1155 socket, not 1366 - that was my point. It's a i7 label but on a 1155 architecture. There was no indication i7 was going to that socket early on in the days of the i7 920. i3/i5 was meant to live there is what I mean and the i7 to be the enthusiast on 1366. Im glad i didn't end up going to the 1366 back a while ago, would have been a shot in the foot really as 1366 is effectively dead.
  14. Sweet I remember earlier in the thread it was stated it wasn't needed, perhaps that was only in early stages. 7kg + turbo would be quite a hefty end result. Be interesting to see where it's braced and what not - look forward to that update
  15. Well it's not a step forward for gamers! Only gains you'll get are video encoding or higher/multi load tasks over LG1155. Im not gonna both with waiting till Ivy. It's still 6 months out yet... From what I've read there appears to be a LG1155 chip coming in Ivy, if this is true then that's sweet. Although who knows with Intel. The LG1366 was meant to be the flagship for ages and the i7 2600k is on the LG1155 and not LG1366 like i expected (this is going back 3 years or so now), and now SB-E is LG2011 All over the bl00dy shop
  16. AH ye tahts the one
  17. The guy who used to do it, and has done 2 cars of mine - was mobile for a few years, and hence unreliable at times and doing mainly corp work i believe. However he has now setup a business with a physical address/office etc. Guys name is Brett Wines, VIP Window Tinting. The place is in Bayswater i believe, unsure of the exact address. I'm sure google will answer such questions. IIRC the pricing was better than $240 for a Skyline. Although there is no specific deal for SAU Members anymore with this business. Perhaps one might be re-established in the future. There is also a guy who does reasonable pricing in the Cheltenham area (who did my GTS-R most recently), i can get his details if people want it. The thread was removed a good 12 months ago, maybe more after issues noted above. So no quality problems, just contactability. Safe to post links here to the members area - non members will just get "invalid" when they try click it
  18. Suspension SOLD! All items now gone to new homes! Thanks.
  19. It'll be fine.
  20. LOL SB-E offers nothing, step back even. Still not going dual card. Just not interested, not haters really, just know more people with problems than without which is not what I build a PC for. I like my machines to work flawlessly... I have enough trouble at work
  21. Looks like I'll be going to NSW that evening... Farken... I'll try and workout something and just leave later on in the night haha.
  22. Exactly. Cannot be compared, said that on page 1. Which brings once again, my point from page 1... Just because you "make" power, or "turns tyres" with obvious restrictions means sweet fa.
