Ok not sure if a private server we will be sorted for tonight. However as soon as you set a password, the servers become un-ranked so ye. Kinda a double edge sword in some ways. BUT Had a quick look through the server listings and there are HEAPS with 10+ free spots. So plenty of room to find one easily and follow from friends lists So i reckon for tonight that's the way to go! Sorting out T/S at the moment. Should be good to go in 25mins

Massive fix IMO. Myself and half a dozen mates played 2-3 rounds of DM. We were all discussing it and it was majorly improved from what we felt. Previously you'd die instantly, the games tonight there was barely a spawn-kill received by anyone. DM rounds actually went longer too as a result (interestingly). Had initial issues after patch install with it not loading into the game. But after closing Origin & web browser then logging back in, all - worked fine and dandy!

Takes 2-3 weeks to arrive usually in the mail. I mean forms have to be POSTED from SAU-Vic for a start, that doesn't exactly happen on day 1

Without looking into it i would say they would be higher binned chips potentially. This is usually the way such things work (same as steppings) leading to better overclocks also. Will do more reading especially with the 2700k coming out shortly and overclock results starting to crop up - but some people are getting 5.0ghz on AIR from a 2700k where most 2600k are 4.6-4.8 on air from what I've ready. Very keen to watch how they go.

Works for me! Don't post the T/S server password until the actual night. We can change it if/when we want so that we don't end up with a bunch of randoms just scouring the net for them etc.

I could borrow a 'friends' internet from across the apartment block, must have gone through at least 2-3 slabs of concrete and was on the opposite side as i had to build a "dish" to increase the signal So roughly at least 150m with the little enhancement, worked well. Got a increase of around 25% (up from 25%) so it was usable for its purpose.
