  1. Totally agree - It's utterly ridiculous. But one must work within the confines, it's easy enough to do if you go about it smartly from the outset.
  2. Yeah they stopped working last night. I let Christian know about it about 15mins ago
  3. Sorry dude but you don't know what you are talking about with regards to what happens down here and it's not as simple as you make it out. The EPA will unplug the AFM, it's a 30sec check to tell them if you have an aftermarket ECU or not. They are not stupid down here unfortunately. If the AFM unplug doesn't work, then they will look closer at things like injectors (colour of tops), and even open up the ECU case. I've had them open up the case on my ECU as the consult port wasn't working, which they can also plug into.
  4. Deathmatch servers are few and far between the past 3-4 days, but certainly a good way to get unlocks for weapons as it's pretty easy to get 15+ kills in a round that generally doesn't last too long. Not all that good for overall "points" as a class (except service stars bonus).
  5. FK me I'm gonna be up early LOL! But that works for me, will be there 6.45

  7. What is the actual entry limit? There must be a cap of some sort I would imagine? Can't invite every forum and have 2 cars Will the categories, scoring/ranking system etc be released with the Supp Regs? Start of Dec limits big forums like this that will have people coming from places like Qld (hopefully)
  8. He is Victorian - not having working MAF's is a EPA death sentence. Fine for you interstate guys, but down here ECU choice isn't just driven by tuner. It's also driven by stealth and trying to be "as stock as possible".
  9. Entry in What time people leaving Melb etc Sat morning?
  10. Yeah that's what a few I've been talking too have said as well. No major improvements overall. Friend of mine has both (on PC), BF3 being a clear winner. MW3 feels to "arcade" style - ie, console. I might get a copy of it later on once price drops.
  11. Not a question of boost - question of airflow & power. Stock injectors will do 300rwkw give/take. A minor rail pressure bump will get you to 320rwkw which is all -7s are going to make. Don't really need to drop $900 on injectors.
  12. Cams are a bad decision for turbos that small IMO. Also fuel rail - stock. There is no way you are maxing a stock one, they are fine for over 400rwkw
  13. Power figures - same as anyone else with that turbo in the Dyno thread, or Hypergear thread.
  14. For -7s you don't really need to upgrade injectors. You could get away with stock ones and a tiny rail pressure bump, also stock AFM's - meaning you only have a $900 cost of a PFC (new) Good luck tracking down a PFC Pro, they don't come up very often and fetch closer to $1200-$1300 second hand. Whatever your choice - talk to your tuner. If $1000 is your budget, then PFC is the only choice realistically. And for the love of god stay away from "MINES" tuned ECU's and what not, they are just paperweights.
  15. I use one, through the headrest single hole. It's a tad uncomfy if you don't settle the straps correctly as almost overlap. Previous owner had it like that and regularly did WRX days and the CAMS scrutineers there never said anything. I've since been and it's never been questioned either. I will probably get a better seat next year though, not a R34 seat as they are just overpriced for what you get.
  16. Ye 4 point is the only option with factory seats, it's not really a problem. Fine in my car. Will suit what you want to do Chinny, basically the same as what i do etc events wise. I have a Sabelt, and not really impressed (previous owner), it's a mega PIA to use although that said it's a few years old now so a bit worn. I'll upgrade to something much more user friendly next year.
  17. ebay special works out cheaper even after you clean them up. as to how well the work compared to the other option, thats debated all over.
  18. Thread closed. Believe it or not, but since SAU started more than 7 years ago, this topic has been discussed before. Please use the search function in future. It may be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&search_in=forums While we understand that it can be frustrating to have your thread closed - Please consider that other members may feel it to be disrespectful and selfish of you to post a simple question, without using the search feature to review the wealth of information provided by said members over the years. If you still feel that this action is unjust, then please PM me and we can discuss it further.
  19. Maybe do some research into GTRs might help you realise it's factory height.
  20. hahaha ye Thinking of coming due to such low entries... Hmm...
  21. Nope - Victorian cops won't give me any details. Great bunch of useless tards they are. They want people to go through their own state first, and then have them contact Vic in some "usual" manner. Pretty pathetic if you ask me given other states Police are more than willing to get involved and help in such situations.
  22. Will it run - yes Will it run well - no. Change anything like a turbo which alters the airflow - it needs a proper tune. Given the size of turbo you'll also need a FMIC, AFM, full exhaust and perhaps injectors etc.
