  1. Very well said, massive thumbs up there! Just because it "looks" the same on a dyno, doesn't mean they are. Same as -5s/-9s... Come on very similarly on a dyno - on the street it's totally different.
  2. Hmmm the plot thickens. I've got shit to do the rest of the day now, so out of the orifice.... I'll have a look in the next day/two as I've gotta create some sub-forums and what not else too. I'll have a look then and see what i can find
  3. I worded it exactly how i meant it What Antivirus are you using? Does your Chrome (or Firefox) have any add-ons running in either? If so - have you tried disabling them all and then trying? Does the actual "pop-up box" appear when you click on the "Follow this topuc" button?
  4. Maybe, maybe not - If i had my time again I'd stick with the -9s for a streeter and not have put -5s on
  5. That did not quite answer the question - Have you tried it in Chrome? I'm trying to rule things out one by one. What you can (or can't) do else where I'm not worried about yet.
  6. So you check the "instant notification" box, and then when trying to click the secondary "follow this topic" button - it does not load? Have you tried Chrome?
  7. No need for the sarcasm, we are trying to help you, and cannot find a problem. If you are going to just dismiss the advice being given, do you really expect us to keep helping? I've tested with non-admin account, also works fine. You might have to manually click for that topic only.
  8. Well I'm using Google Chrome and it's working fine for me. It's not a special admin access based function - it's the same for all users so there isn't an issue. Ensure you let the page FULLY load before trying to race through and click the button. If the page hasn't fully loaded it might not load the button correctly.
  9. It worked fine for me - I just did it. Top right corner "Follow this topic". I set to "instant notifications". It's working. I don't see a problem here.
  10. Ye the post summed it up perfectly. Unfortunately OP has purchased the wrong parts for his goals in a few areas
  11. Some people are bright sparks!
  12. Simple mans way: Simply click into the sub-forum you wish to search, then use the top right corner. It will search ONLY that forum be default This will only let you search one forum sub-section at a time though. Advanced mans way: Go into advanced search and simply "Ctrl" + "mouse button" and highlight all the sub-forums you want to search. This will let you search many sub-forums at once. So to answer the question - it already exists
  13. Looks ok. Given the lack of detail surrounding the actual turbos you have, can't say much more really
  14. Without knowing which 2860s (there are 3 or 4), impossible to tell really. Torque always drops off. So no issue there
  15. manifold --> turbo flange is where it goes
  16. I'm getting them fine. I suggest you guys check that 1. You've checked the "Follow this topic" button in the top right corner 2. You've set-up your Profile/Settings/Email - correctly. You actually need to go in a tick a couple of boxes (there have been threads on this in the section before).
  17. carbon shafts, again comes back to how does his bank account look Either way most of the affordable things are already covered, everything else just gets more and more expensive as you go
  18. And fuel pump So realistically to make use of a larger turbo - you need a fuel pump, as injectors run out around 230rwkw and stock pumps never last over 200rwkw in a gts-t without leaning out (on PULP, so E85 no chance). So its pretty obvious if someone has changed it That means modified class either way (as no-one is silly enough to run a stock pump and risk a motor blowing).
  19. Hi Greg. Not on Committee anymore, haven't been for a couple years - however Richo & Co will no doubt see this and have a discussion Only issue I can see, would be those who want to upgrade to do MSport etc, it would be a mega PIA for the Sexatary (Dan), to have to reprocess/upgrade people constantly -Ash
  20. lol... Almost... It did get a bit stinky if I did 2-3 runs back to back - and I'm talking full 8200rpm launches on radials. It was also near death so that wouldn't have been helping. When doing normal launches on street tyres, it was a walk in the park - could do them back to back no drama.
  21. ^ That's the Motorspot CShip - different to DECA CShip and 2013 Events
  22. Thread closed. Believe it or not, but since SAU started more than 7 years ago, this topic has been discussed before. Please use the search function in future. It may be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&search_in=forums While we understand that it can be frustrating to have your thread closed - Please consider that other members may feel it to be disrespectful and selfish of you to post a simple question, without using the search feature to review the wealth of information provided by said members over the years. If you still feel that this action is unjust, then please PM me and we can discuss it further.
  23. Rules state: Pump and injectors = modified. So that means modified as you can't run E85 without. No point running E85 on stock turbos anyway(to stay in stock class), your limited by boost/airflow - not fuel. Also you need to be a Vic member to actually be eligible for points/cship.
  24. Closed this off as per this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/419678-r35-area-changes/
  25. All, As part of a raft of changes for the greater SAU - We've added a For Sale & WTB areas to the R35 Forum and removed the other sub-forums that existed prior. More R35 parts are coming onto the market each day, we are moving to compliment that shift. The section won't stay forever as the new For Sale section is currently being built/tested - but this will serve well until then. We will also be creating R35 GT-R Trader Forum areas (exclusively limited number), specific to R35 GT-Rs, that will become a permanent feature. Any businesses wishing to take up this first chance opportunity and be a part of much larger improvements for SAU - please PM Blitz or Myself to discuss. There are more changes coming so anyone that may have some interesting ideas and want to work with us as we take SAU into the future, feel free to contact Prank or Myself Any comments or feedback welcome
