  1. Maybe a good idea to outline what the membership discount is - some around probably don't know how it works
  2. Yes but like a lot of things - they may look VERY similar on a dyno. Drive them, and it's totally different. A post recently summed it up brilliantly from a user who has used a few types now.
  3. ^ what he told is, is the law. Get over it really (your posted edited as there is no need for that)
  4. Quoting posts - isn't working properly. Should show the code so people can edit out sections. Mobile - bit of a pain. It's defaulting to Mobile (where i cant change back to full version). Mobile overall still have same problems as previous one after some playing around
  5. Yep - sigh
  6. Same configuration of built motors (by the same hands), on the same dyno with the same tuner. Near enough as you'll ever get to comparative.
  7. Speed trap was about 30m before the 800m - not the 400m. The only thing that was measured @ 400m - was the time.
  8. At a AASA event, unlikely. However at a CAMS event if there is someone that knows what they are on about, then wouldn't be out of the question. CAMS approved half cages are that cheap these days anyway brand new. Usually only $200-$350 more expensive than a 2nd hand Jap one.
  9. It'll fall over in the top end as the 2530 always did (And the 2535 isn't massively different). What you could do though is certainly run more boost through the mid range, 20psi+ wouldn't be out of the question as long as the turbo can flow the air really
  10. I think most would say 45rwkw just with not even 1psi of boost is probably far and above the norm, and E85 is making up for other issues and not necessarily the turbo related. It's like when I was using Sunoco 104 over 98 with a really bad exhaust. Managed 270rwkw on 18psi and it wouldn't take a ounce more with the exhaust on (drop it more power no worries), put 104 in and 370rwkw on 24psi was the end result with exhaust connected.
  11. As i said earlier - not always a "big" gain as more results are coming out with smaller turbo setups as generally they are not limited in the top end. Midrange, yes of course - no argument there at all Look at RB26s with -9s/-7s - to date not one guy that's gone E85 has achieved anything more than a ~15rwkw gain in the top end as the turbos have already fallen off 3-5psi by 8000rpm as they are past efficiency on PULP. I know I could add +5 timing to the top end of my map and not make anymore noticeable power (or knock) in the top end with the smaller turbos on the same boost level as it wasn't knock restricted. Where a -5 setup will pickup a solid 30-40rwkw almost certainly as you can also jam a few extra pounds of boost into it.
  12. g2play.net for BF3 Premium. It's where i get pretty much anything that isn't on Steam. So $59 for the Premium and $42 for the extra DLC - and there is HEAAAAAPS of play time. Wish i had time for gaming atm lol, been 2-3 months since ive even fired up a game.
  13. And... Go for Round 3 http://www.worldtimeattack.com/index.php/wtac-rule-update-february-2013-version-1-3/
  14. Given they are a small turbo and run out of airflow on 98, top end gains won't be as major. You will get midrange gains none the less as you could put more boost into the midrange, but it will still taper off and with it the top end power if the turbo is already falling off. Where E85 excels is being able to run more boost AND timing than you can on 98 in the top end - which is where the top end power gains are as a combination. You also get midrange as well of course as added boost earlier beefs everything.
  15. Also side point, when you did a bleed how much oil did you go through to bleed with?
  16. Was it a REAL kit or a knock off? What piping doesn't line up? Are you sure you've lined things up correctly? Most cooler kit install problems, especially legit blitz, are user error unfortunately.
  17. You can make between 400-450rwkw on -5s (with a decently built motor) and E85 - it's been tried and proven - plenty of info around. Failing that if you want to go single - pages of info there as well. Please take the time to use the search mate.
  18. Decision is easy. Do you live somewhere that defects are common and you don't want to be defected/deal with that issue? Yes: bin -10s and go -5s No: look at singles
  19. And next time - don't go to e-war, just use the report post button and let us sort it out.
  20. Not needed if you aren't getting it warm enough driving around. Unless temps are over 100 I wouldn't even bother.
  21. AFM needs to be AS FAR away as possible from the intake, and it'll be fine.
  22. 3" will be fine.
  23. Dead set on that statement Mark! For hill runs and motorkhana/hill climb stuff i did - plus daily driving - 100%. The on/off throttle response is huge between the two. Top end counts for nothing when you've gotta change gears far more often to keep it on the boil (dropping back to 2nd as opposed to simply staying in 3rd) Not to take anything away from -5s - above 140km/h they are great! But honestly - how often are you there?
  24. I had to sell my two tickets as its opening of my restaurant that week(s), just cant afford to take a day off... I've been praying for months I'd be able to go, but alas... I've been caught I was looking forward to at least trying to see: - Metallica - Linkin Park (last year them & SOAD were AWESOME) - Slayer - Blink 182 - APC
  25. thread cleaned - users warned as per this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/397357-for-sale-admin-crackdown/
