Front Cusco Lsd On Gtr ?
R31Nismoid replied to cobrAA's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Next time you are down Paul I'll have to take your car for a spin and see the difference between your Quaife and what my Nismo front LSD was like, as my Nismo was exactly the same as this one it settled in (about 500kms) -
The power of people who don't know what they are talking about All that happens is they just cancel it and reissue another, you don't get off on technicalities like that.

The NBN is the biggest waste of Tax Payer dollars in a long, long time. I said it would cost near on double when it was announced years ago, people said I was full of it - sure enough, looks what's happened. Both Govt's have it wrong.
-
Police do it all the time with fines etc if they get details wrong, EPA doing the same comes as no surprise.
-
Ah see you told them TOO much. As with all negotiation and Govt body related - Only say what you need to. Should've just given them proof about the 2-2.30pm part and left it at that. THEN play the next card if they made up another "approximation". Still though - you are entitled to see who it was that made the report, and the paperwork associated under freedom of information. I'd write another letter if you were NOT in the area at the said time, outlining it all and have a quick look at some freedom of information. Hell even put it in the letter they provide the proof of the report, as they are legally required to do

Type up a letter, outlining it all - and providing all the evidence to the contrary. Documented evidence etc. At the end of the letter simply state that as it is ILLEGAL to make a FALSE report - and as such, you will not be taking the car in. They should then drop it.

50K 2Nd Hand R35's In Japan With $A At Record Highs Against The Yen
R31Nismoid replied to GT-R OZ's topic in R35 GTR
Porsche Aus have already been pulled up on the gouging - lets just hope other manufactuers see the same. Even with Stamp, LCT, GST & whatever other costs you wanna include - the price of high-end cars is still not even close to justifiable. But that's the Aussie consumers fault - for paying it. -
GB rules are clear about what information is required, before posting. Either post inline with them, or this thread will be locked

+1 It might also surge in lower RPMs given the front wheel. The 3040 IMO was effectively redundant when the 3076 52T came out some years ago (where the 3040 was the only option 6-7 years ago). Also .63 rear for a GT30 - just doesn't work. Get the .82

Getting More Power Out Of -7's
R31Nismoid replied to JimmyRickard's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
That first one (if it was usmair or whatever), didn't come close to the MPH to back it up, in fact the MPH showed it has zero gain, where the "dyno" said there was 40rwkw... I'd like to see Trent's result hit the strip and pump out a MPH. As with a few other people on here actually... It seems some have pretty "hefty" increases that seem to defy what everyone else are getting. (not having a go at anyone here either, just wanna see more info). -
Dont Be Fooled Into Buying Cheap Coil Packs.
R31Nismoid replied to STATUS's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I had 15yr old stock coils in my GTR, making 370rwkw day in, day out. Track days, hill runs etc. OEM FTW. Pay a tad more, last twice as long... Economy says they will be cheaper in the long run -

Alcon Adr Approved?
R31Nismoid replied to NisGTR's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
They probably would be OK as long as they have dust seals. That's usually the issue with upgraded/race kits. More to the point you need to go and get a VASS Cert/Engineers (~$650) for VicRoads if you wished to do it legally/registered... No-one I know has ever really bothered including myself. You'd have to be really stiff to get pinned for that type of mod -
Unless you have an upgrade brake package (356mm etc) - RDA FTW. Cheaper and same performance I found over the years. Any rotor will get rust appearing if you don't drive/use the car regularly. Also most performance pads that actually stop a car, will give you dust. I know my Ferrodo DS2500 & DS3000's put a good amount of dust in just a couple days of driving, but the car stopped hard every time so I wasn't fussed
-
lol Nik, love it - and i do agree given the "level of effort" factor. Slightly not so simple answer: No - without VASS approval. Conditional Yes - with VASS approval (Engineers Cert) - but you MUST talk to them BEFORE doing it to understand their requirements.

Need the link for the Android one - or is it the same? Might be time for a mailout about a few things -
It has been 50+ in the past, depends on the day really. As for Police - it's like the rain - don't talk/think/worry about it and it won't happen.
