  1. People have enough issues getting 275s/285s on a 10" rim without guard modifications (and assuming it's not silly low), and still grabbing the inner guard (even on 265s, depending on offset) You're aiming to get a tyre wider than 275s on there with 11"? So not sure how a 11" and 295/305 is really going to work with factory guards.
  2. Pity punishments are slaps on the wrist really these days. Hardly a deterrent. Few months in a cell and all the money made off selling them all is still hidden under someone's bed.
  3. Same boat, can't say I've read either. I guess the question is - What RPM are you after OP? Whats the turbo setup etc?
  4. Some collation of great information there. The technical info that comes up on SAU is always nothing short or awesome.
  5. Yep if JustJap have them here, that is absolutely a cracking price as you will cop customs most likely. And JustJap are a SAU Trader. Winner!
  6. Yeah my main point is "EOI" is essentially pointless. Seen it happen many times over the years, you get to 20 people going "yeah ill get one". Then you actually ask for money/deposits, even if the price is awesome, and still only get one person pay. Best thing, contact Aaron and take it from there. (He only got back from O/S yesty, so he'll be under the pump this week). They have containers arriving almost once a month now IIRC, so it won't take long to get the process sorted. Then get the pricing sorted out, do a formal purchase and then see how the numbers actually fare. Then do it structured (if pricing goes that way) with 5 / 10 / 20 people etc. That said sea shipping cost won't change a hell of a lot no matter how many, it all depends how it's packed before it's send - IM can again sort that out potentially at their packing facility in Japan if the supplier packs individually rather than a group etc. Loads of options basically
  7. You can't. They are simply too small. The only option is a R34 GT-t cooler, well documented in the forums as a "upgrade" path. Still, only good for stock turbo.
  8. x 11ty. I could name quite a few AFL players who don't mind some fun, but as that's all it is, who farken cares IMO. Long as you're not loaded on game day who gives a flying f**k. Most AFL players now will hit Thailand, Vegas and other places out of season simply so they can relax and behave like normal cash up kids/bogans/whatever would do when they are free. And yeah, Adam Goodes, EAD. I almost start boo-ing when i see an article pop up.
  9. Congrats to his EVO you mean
  10. All the threads I had 502's... Working good as gold now!
  11. Been a while since a great cleansing. Don't all whore at once now!
  12. Wrong standings Nick Big props to the SAU NSW crew - I've been following this with very keen interest as the rounds have unfolded. Coota round will be interesting... The HSV boys have broken ranks to try land some points it would seem! Team: Peter Beswick (Nissan R35, 3.8L T/C) Ian Williams (Narain Lamborghini Aventador, 6.5L, N/A) hehe. I believe next year the events might be going interstate, Vic potentially having a round. Winton was discussed as the best place from a cost perspective, PI/Sandown are unlikely due to the expense... Be interesting to see if that happens. Maybe some friendly VIC/NSW wager will be in order! Best of luck for Coota! May all the horsepowers be with you
  13. Great write up and pics Lloyd
  14. WRAP UP THREAD http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/458469-july-deca-wrap-up/
  15. lol wtf!(O!)!)! works for me... now that is weird (PM me screen shot plz)
  16. Contact SAU Traders mate, best advice I can give RE: pricing. We have Street to Track who are almost unbeatable on turbo pricing from what I've seen in recent time, no doubt they will do a SAU'er a good package price as well. Shoot them a PM - http://www.sau.com.au/forums/user/83240-street-to-track/
  17. More runs for members becomes pretty problematic to manage who is who, then how do you deal with car sharing (members vs non) etc. Just a member price and non-member is a good move IMO. Join up and after 3 DECA's you've saved your membership moneh and the 4th is a bonus reduction. WINRAAARRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. It will, but it will make the A-LSD in the rear behave in VERY strange ways. I did my front first and rear later. The rear would not lock up properly anymore. It must have something to do with the g-sensors or something that is governing the A-LSD system... Either way, more grip at the front = the rear A-LSD very unhappy.
  19. GTX no point without E85. You won't be able to run the boost required to get the most out of it. A GT3076 will match a GTX under about 20psi. The GTX's were supposed to deliver better response etc etc over the GT series but it didn't really happen. What did happen though is they are FAR more efficient at higher pressures, but you need E85 for that. Won't get away with it on PULP. You can make a solid 300-320rwkw out of a GT3076 without going E85. That is what you would be aiming for IMO. If you want more, GT35 for around 350-370. Twin scroll is "meant" to have dual gates in the ideal world, but given the results out there that suggest you can just get away with a merge/single larger gate - it's certainly more economical
  20. I wouldn't call 90-95 HOT. That's about standard running temp TBH. Certainly think it's sensor placement more than anything.
  21. Are you buying Ex-US? Ex-JPN? You kinda need to follow the GB rules. Everyone always says "I am in" with a EOI... That's the problem with them. Get some firm pricing. If it is ex-JPN then Import Monster will be able to handle sea freight and reduce it to next to nothing. They always look after SAU, and I bet that $800 price is for air shipping... Ordering more won't really get the price down as the package size/weight will go up and that's what it's based on.
  22. Indeed I was thinking the same, some of that pricing is "too" cheap.
