Just a FYI having come up today with a mate there are a few points to note. 1. The Gundagai BP (Dog on a box) is CLOSED. This is my usual fill point so assuming a few of you will be planning on that also. So to get around this - get off @ the South Gundagai Exit (the first one of the Gundagai exists), and take a RIGHT from the off ramp. There is a Shell and a HJ's/McD's there rather than BP but that's how it goes. 2. There is a TONNE of roadwork. It took us significantly longer than usual to get up. So minimise your stop time at servo's if you can/fill up quickly etc. There was varying works from 40km/h to 80km/r in a fair few sections, much more than when i came up 2 months ago. 3. Few TMU's out, usual story there

There is too much assache to have it here, hence I doubt Gup would bring it down here. There is already Easternats up in Shep - and you run try something @ Sandown you won't get anywhere. Calder could be a possibility but the venue needs a lot of money to be spent to get it up to scratch.

Yeah give it a go first. (you taking it out the back of my place? ). Perhaps give Traction Tyres a go - bit of a drive, but that have always served me well in that regard along with other SAU members if you tell them what you want from the car

$500 is not possible. Ebay is not possible - actually Ebay is possible, as long as you don't expect for $400 paperweight to late more than 15mins. You need: 1. ECU / Tune 2. AFM 3. Injectors 4. Exhaust/dump pipe 5. Hypergear turbo All of that add's up to well over $500. In fact it adds up to $4,200 if you by some stroke of luck have no other issues and shop around... Which is unlikely with a 150yo car, so allow $5,200 as a starting point for a turbo (+supporting mods).

It won't just be the springs Marcus. It's also the actual shock rebound and various other things that come into play. I'm pretty certain I had 8/6 in my GTR and the rear was very soft compared to move, but they were custom valve'd (Tien) to suit and the shocker was quite forgiving.

You have a Holset HX40... You will never have response with a truck turbo, so forget trying to get response by playing with things. Go with VCT and just hope for the best IMO.

If they are leaving @ 7am on the dot they should be @ Gundagai about 11:30 based on how long it takes me, but I'd say closer to 12-12:15pm is realistic as no-one ever leaves on time But ye, get Martin's number to confirm any major delays

Added (will confirm rear pricing when i can) Street pad was fine in my R33 GTR for hill runs and similar @ 360rwkw and lots of traction. Long as you don't ask 10/10ths for 10mins+ straight /w heavy braking, you'll be very happy

Honestly the street D2 pads are fine for street duties 100%
