  1. Not to race i don't If i was going to get another performance car, cause a SS is certainly not a performance car, i wouldn't be buying an EVO!
  2. We didn't flame you at all. We simply said the power was probably a little high, and then when you ran the MPH you did, it proved what we said - then you were the one who became all agitated and agro about the situation. Not us. You should take your own advice really, people here are keen to see results, but also at the same time people know what the results should be (and know when some unrealistic ones are posted). So when everyone does question it, as it wasn't just me, you should perhaps think "hey, maybe they are right and i need to learn/read/research some more", rather than having a hissy fit over being wrong and stating in various threads you were making 500rwkw - when - you were not I'm not a tuner, but i do know what MPH you should have vs the power vs weight, such a thing that will never lie really.
  3. I'd never sell my soul like that
  4. Mate of mine will be selling his Silver 9 mid next year when his Aston arrives lol... less than 40k kms on it currently, he barely drives it
  5. Still don't have 500rwkw though? Anyway what happened to this? Either way your initial 500rwkw result was wrong - as we all said - due to the IT sensor fudge & the fact you only ran a MPH to back ~430rwkw (funny on both accounts...) Least now you can see/realise that for yourself (hopefully)
  6. So first of all you come here asking if it is true, and now you are telling us you know for a fact? Proof please - and not just "someones word", the ADRs are pretty clear as are the VIC EPA rules.
  7. Assuming you mean the VIC one... The thread is in the VIC section with the info: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/350198-become-a-member-of-sau-vic/ Each State Club is independent of the forums, so posting here won't get answers as such for club matters. (but the thread above answers for you).
  8. Still more carrying on about Blown GS i see Not at all surprising when a LS3 (6.2ltr) with nothing more than cams/tune/exhaust will put down 330rwkw N/A - that shit be crazy Friend of mines blown LS1 makes 370rwkw and runs mid 10s, blower sits on about 7psi and it's a stock LS1 with 80,000kms done now with the blower (160,000 total). Gotta laugh at that really - RB26's would be on borrowed time in such conditions. But i'd still take a 2.6 R33 GTR any day of the week.
  9. As stated - Silvia flange - no good for GTR. As for the rest, please use the search function. More than enough info on 2560s for GTRs
  10. Forum rules clearly state to list all items & prices. If this is not done, this will be locked.
  11. There is a way of locking a ECU, many of them are password/code protected. Anything can be done, it's just a question of money - and on a R32 GTR that's worth 20-30k, full EPA is pointless.
  12. Yeah basically. And if you fail the test - you've done your dough and have to pay the fee again. I wish it was just a simple IM-240 test like NSW (a 15min job), rather than full ADR testing we VICs have to deal with
  13. Now this has tickled my interest
  14. You won't get it fully engineered with things like larger turbos, cams, ECUs etc.
  15. So from that, even spending $3000, means it's not going to last! It's about as ridiculous of a statement as the one you just made i think? If a part fails, it fails - that's what RMA is for. If you cooked it however, only you are to blame for that! Fact is the part list i put up will run the game no problem day in, day out forever (not counting part faults )
  16. Rubbish. I ran a E8400 @ 4.4ghz for 4.5 years and it was on 24x7 on air and i used to game heaps (last 3-4 months, not so). Upgraded GPU every 12-18 months as needed (usually $500 spend). None of the cards I sold had any degradation and best of my knowledge, still work fine today (even the 4yr old one). Just make sure you select the right parts for the job and you won't have a problem. I've since build 6 other PCs for friends and all run fine, budget generally $1600-$1800. Anyway Paul, look @ this list, could refine it more - would run this game on MAX without any problems in the world @ 1920x1080, and would do it for years. http://www.pccasegea...tion=wish_lists Obviously if you have monitor then you come in around $1600. Just doesn't include keyboard/mouse/speakers as people generally have these.
  17. lol don't you start
  18. Been a long, long week. No time spare today to come down, had to meet someone at 11am today. Looks like it was good event, well done
  19. $1800 at the most to run that on max settings, even then you could do it cheaper depending on what you already have.
  20. Yes that is what you were told in the very first post. The O2 is only referenced on CRUISE.
  21. You do actually, you just mouth off and end up being suspended. So, enjoy the next 21 days of suspension. Hopefully this time you start to learn.
  22. Please read the "EPA" thread. Plenty of info like this in there, that's why it exists
  23. Thread closed. Believe it or not, but since SAU started more than 7 years ago, this topic has been discussed before. Please use the search function in future. It may be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&search_in=forums While we understand that it can be frustrating to have your thread closed - Please consider that other members may feel it to be disrespectful and selfish of you to post a simple question, without using the search feature to review the wealth of information provided by said members over the years. If you still feel that this action is unjust, then please PM me and we can discuss it further.
  24. Brakes, suspension, clutch, diff - I could go on but you get the idea
