  4. Might actually fit but the bolt pattern will be different
  5. Unless ive missread wiki. . The DE and DET cams have the same lift and SLIGHTLY different duration. . .so little difference that they wouldnt be worth the time swapping over

  7. Could be leaking from any off the places youve mentioned, cant tell where from over the Internet. . Either way im thinking you are going to be doing a partial strip down of the engine and if you are going to that much trouble then you might as well rebuild it as engines are never quite the same after they have been cooked
  8. If your compression test results( very very low) are accurate/correct then a leak down test is pointless as your engine is borked anyway
  9. The head cant be straightened? Surely if the cam tunnel was that far out of alignment the cam would no longer turn ?
  10. ^^^ the markup on parts here is huge Ive bought a lot of genuine parts from the states and even allowing for freight its a lot cheaper

Rb30e starter is in fact much larger than the rb20det starter. .so wiring should reach just fine and it will bolt up just fine Rather than get a secondhand starter that might crap out on you ... new ones (for rb30e) arent that expensive (mine is an ENDURO) and comes with a 3 year/75, 000k warranty

The aftermarket steering wheel is the problem Unless it accomodates the steering wheel angle sensor the hicas aint gunna like it. .when I got my R32 gtst the hicas light was on ... the(stock) steering wheel had been taken off but when it was put back on the dot on the column and dot on the back of the wheel werent lined up... . Lined them up.. reset ecu, no light

  21. At least yours is reading correctly when its working, mine reads slower than the speed im doing Its not like ive changed the wheels n tyres from standard
  22. Ive had an engine do that, it had started to cut a groove in the head where the gasket had gone

  24. What you need to find out now is WHY the head is no longer flat? What caused it to do that? Detonation? Overheating?
