Unless ive missread wiki. . The DE and DET cams have the same lift and SLIGHTLY different duration. . .so little difference that they wouldnt be worth the time swapping over
Could be leaking from any off the places youve mentioned, cant tell where from over the Internet. . Either way im thinking you are going to be doing a partial strip down of the engine and if you are going to that much trouble then you might as well rebuild it as engines are never quite the same after they have been cooked
Rb30e starter is in fact much larger than the rb20det starter. .so wiring should reach just fine and it will bolt up just fine
Rather than get a secondhand starter that might crap out on you ... new ones (for rb30e) arent that expensive (mine is an ENDURO) and comes with a 3 year/75, 000k warranty
I have an actual helpful answer for you . Yes
Ive run a rb25det turbo on my rb20det without coolant for years and its fine.. .notice I can actually spell words correctly
Hi, chasing a second opinion, looking for new engine mounts , inc auto trans rubber for my r32 rb20det. . Are they the same rubber as r31 rb30e ? Have seen r32 mounts on ebay but seem OTT in price

The aftermarket steering wheel is the problem
Unless it accomodates the steering wheel angle sensor the hicas aint gunna like it. .when I got my R32 gtst the hicas light was on ... the(stock) steering wheel had been taken off but when it was put back on the dot on the column and dot on the back of the wheel werent lined up... . Lined them up.. reset ecu, no light
At least yours is reading correctly when its working, mine reads slower than the speed im doing
Its not like ive changed the wheels n tyres from standard
