  1. Not sure which posts you mean Craig but you might as well settle down. The forum rules clearly state no member cannot name any business in a negative post. That includes your post that has been editted. You should expect any posts like that to be deleted by a member or admin. And before you tell me that is bullshit again, consider that a forum member is currently being sued by a business they posted negative comments about. Luckily for the forums they have not been included in the case, but that may not always be the case. If you want to put forward comments...just make sure you do not name or clearly imply who the business is. simple.
  2. ahh as usual...that puts 2 and 2 together
  3. saw farking heaps of stags on the hill at superlap today! nickzilla rs with r34 front shaun's one biseebee's the black s2 (sorry forgot your name!) and mine with a trailer behind it
  4. lol he is, is he? you are obviously across the details of trader income and hosting costs. Unlike many other, this forum is not run on a commercial basis and never has been. In fact, you aren't even a donator so all you have contributed to the cost of running this forum was increasing it with your complaint
  5. most likely its not really boost bleeding off. when it runs over 7psi does it keep accelerating smoothly or just subtly lose power? A lot of people have found that the factory tune is very intolerant of running extra boost, and it starts running very rich and retarding the timing- which in turn means it makes less boost and drops of quickly. In my car it was very voilent, felt like a bad missfire, but mine had an uncommon ecu. BTW your standard solenoid should not be connected if you are using a turbosmart or any other boost controller. So earthing the solenoid should make no difference
  6. you need an adapter, oil filter/relocator and block are both female. the rb30 has just such a thing 6x22mm 12x30mm
  7. lol good call...I bet a few of them don't have them. then again rainx is surprisingly effective
  8. hmmm sounds right....give John at UAS a call I'd suggest
  9. nice weather today. I wonder if wayne will ever see this thread? he is probably out it his boat.
  10. nah its cool - there is a seal at one end and a bolt on flange at the other.
  11. You are running the skyline disc to suit that kit not the stag one right? They need to be changed as a pair
  12. yeah good point...I had been holding on to in the hope things would be simple, I guess it is time to pass that on too.
  13. yeah same sort of solution pipster11 said, that's how we do the race car too but its easy without a heater box. to be honest i think its just luck sometimes....these systems are very complex and big air bubbles can form
  14. Yes I do have an update! Shell's insurers/lawyers sent a letter saying ".....we have investigated your claim and conclude there was no defect in the quality of the fuel.....we are not able to reimburse you for the cost of the repairs". So I have now lodged a claim with the NSW Dept of Fair Trading. No doubt it will be slow progress from here but I am not willing to let it go. Interestingly, the lawyers responded immediately that I told them a claim had been lodged, all very aggressive.
  15. I run an ebay turbo on my rb30. And I don't get the anti-china thing? If those guys can accurately put together the thousands of precision bits you are typing on, they they can build a big cast fan. Yes my turbo is a bit laggier and not as efficent as some, but it delivered my goals for a street motor at a good price. And it might not last as long, but I can replace it 5 times before its worth buying a garrett. BTW on custom race turbs from Garrett are built in america. Everything else is built in a third world factory just like your nikes
  16. ahh OK sounds like the right procedure....just make sure the heater is on full as well.
  17. lol not being able to find the fuel release is a major issue with a stagea!
  18. the vin should still be stamped intothe firewall above the motor, not on a plate
  19. See all of the SAU members at superlap.....nice and dry in the tent on turn 2
  20. I think it's much more likely they system is not bled properly - the heater is not working because there is a big air bubble there probably. Have you replaced the coolant, and if so what procedure did you follow to bleed it. You should run the heater on hot while bleeding, prefeably with the nose of the car pointing uphill. There may also be a bleeder on the engine block you should open, certainly is on rbs
  21. Almost certain all cars will be parked outside...they are expecting a decent crowd/
  22. lol....maybe sleeping off a bender. "any ports in a storm"!
  23. look....disco stu has checked in!
  24. what is "IT"??? I've been told I don't have "it".
  25. get rid of those nugget bush bearing turbos and put some proper ball bearing turbs on instead
