  1. Bump. Rotors sorted. Still chasing a pair or set if needed of wheels.
  2. I guess the demand for revenue has gone back up with less people getting "hoon-lawed" to the impound lot.....
  3. Has anyone here DIY'd a kit? Looking at the basic cooling mist stage 1 kit which is just a pump, nozzle, lines and boost switch. Put this together with a "5th injector" style driver running off an injector signal along with a PWM solenoid and presto a fuel proportional WMI kit for under $400 that doesn't use duty cycle to the pump to regulate itself. Has anyone tried this with success? Where can you source a solenoid that can be PWM'd and is compatible with water and methanol?
  4. Hi all, Chasing a PAIR of 4 stud 16" R33 GTS rims, either stock, off your mates camry, whatever, so long as they fit and are 16" rims. Have my own tires looking for spare wheels to get into any motorsport I can enter in the near future. Also chasing a full serviceable set of R33 GTS rotors above minimum thickness. Prefer pick up in south-west victoria. Cash waiting or reasonable swap for items advertised here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/392276-garage-clear-out-assorted-parts-tools-etc/page__gopid__6285691#entry6285691 Cheers, Josh
  5. Back on topic, anyone running United 100 RON in a relatively stock car? Just had mine tuned to 196rwkw on BP98 would United 100 when available be safe/a good idea for a bit more safety against knock etc?
  6. Yes, you can use a thicker headgasket to lower the compression. Most people including myself don't though as it gives better response, more bottom end torque and saves alot of hassle of removing and re-fitting the head. So long as you can prevent the car from pinging with conservative boost, timing and good quality fuel, high compression won't cause problems.
  7. Made 196 rwkw at 8 psi on Creatd Motorsports dyno today. Tuned by Rob at Creatd, exceptional bloke to deal with and very happy with the tune. Relevant mods: -Stock un-opened RB25DE engine, head, intake and airbox ~175,000kms -Stock R33 GTST injectors, rail, ECU, exhaust manifold -stock R34 GTT turbo -Hybrid 600X300X76mm front mount intercooler -custom 2.5" intercooler piping -custom metal intake from AFM to turbo -JJR 3" dump/front pipe -Custom 2.5" high-flow exhaust, cat and mufflers -Yellowjacket Coil-Packs -NGK Platinum plugs gap -Walbro GS-341 fuel pump -Turbo-tech MBC -Apexi SAFC "blue-screen" -Oil cooler kit with filter relocator and thermostat -Nismo adjustable fuel pressure regulator

It will hold it's settings once the key is off, or at least it should.
  9. I was thinking along the lines of GTRNUR, my washers rarely get used, and the tank is huge, maybe not for a track car, but for a "spirited-driving" daily, using the washer bottle would save running lines from back to front and the (small) cost of the tank, and be less obvious than a seperate mounted tank. If the kit has an external pump that runs a line from the reserve to the pump, I don't see how it couldn't be adapted. If the washer motors/bottle etc can't handle metho you could still run water injection alone.
  10. I didn't mean using the washer bottle pumps to feed the WMI. I meant using the washer bottle as a reservoir, but still keeping it functional as a washer bottle. I doubt the washer motor would even be able to over-come boost pressure?
  11. Was thinking about this today, if you found a good glass cleaner with some methanol content, you could run the WMI feed directly from the washer bottle correct? (since most skylines have 3+ litre washer bottles) Leaving the only thing visible in the engine bay the injection nozzle and line.....
  12. Am I right in saying that the Aquamist HFS3-v2 starts injection at a set manifold presure/MAF sensor reading, but injects proportional to the injector cycle? Ie 2.5 volts to trigger the system on, then a constant 15% water to fuel injection by mocking injector cycle? Do any other kits offer this exact method?
  13. Cheers for that! Been worrying my gearbox would s**** itself at 200+rwkw, good to see at least one re-assuring result.
  14. Had a search, are you still using the standard RB20 gearbox? Only reference I could find was to an oil leak?
  15. You won't find anything locally who will do more than change the oil and say "don't know". DR. Drift and Creatd Motorsports (I think) di ECU remaps, but you can almost go full management for the price.
  16. All parts are now in the car and operating! No leaks etc and will post up a few photos sometime this week.
  17. My oil cooler is in and functional now. Bought a Vulture Motorsport 15 row kit some time ago, and Brendan supplied me with an additional line for $20. Got a Greddy thermostat plate for $220 delivered. Few metres of spiral wrap and electrical tape to help protect the lines from rubbing. Full kit with everything I wanted for $600! So far all good, no leaks at all and warms up in the same time. Made a big difference today in hot weather with the A/C on, usually the coolant temp would be above 80 very quickly, but sat bang on 80 and held there non stop. (as in the extra cooling of the oil has helped the coolant temps)
  18. Have you looked at DIY'ing a kit? Greenline can source genuine greddy thermostats/take off plates for ~$200, leaves you with $300 for a core and two lines.......
  19. Photo needs "when you see it, you'll s*** bricks"
  20. Happy by 60 rwkw? Standard injectors are 370cc, which i've been told makes them good for 370 crank HP at 100% duty and standard pressure, or there abouts? So in theory, the 400-450 crank HP Toshi is making would need %15-%25 more pressure to keep them below %90 duty? Is that right, or am I missing something? Also interested in this.
  21. Ah there it is! Cheers Ash. It'd moved more then one scroll and I got lost.
  22. Regarding the no mark all items read button: Using the default skin, doesn't work/appear on the "pulse" on either. Browser is google chrome. Using the full version. It's the button that when browsing the forums with "view new content", once you've read through the new posts etc it used to be in the top right of the topics list.
