Your incorrect. It is effectively a 350z underneath, however not many general mechanics know these cars well. My suggestion would be to read up on these forums, you'll find 1/2 dozen common issues, and get a recommended mechanic or nrma to inspect the car. one good thing that shows engine condition on these is the inside of the intake plenum. If the owner allows you to take it appart, t will show the Kms, and blow by.

I am friendly with Rod + Craig, and slung a spanner at a couple of his cars, helped out (really just got in the way) at Phillip Island at the classics when Rod was racing. He still can steer exceptionally, and knows his way round a track. He'll be driving MCM.
