What ozone reminds me of, is when my dad and I got up early and went down stairs to play with the Hornby train set. Heaps of sparks in the old electric motors, and ozone fitting the garage. Now I am older, I have teh stoopids from brain damage.

Nothing really will get rid of it. But I have done everything, and I mean just about everything. My car now smells fine. I get the occasional smell of something, but it doesn't smell like cig smoke any more. Biggest thing IMO is first get rid of the interior filter. Second, pop the console and vacuum all around. There will be ash everywhere. Machine wash the mats. I used baking soda on the seats, and vacced it off. Coffee proved unsuccessful. I did stick an ozone generator in it for a few days. Seemed ok. Dunno how much it did. But it is possible to get it to the stage it doesn't bother you. But there will always be a little smell.

Slow. Like the results. Ok. PNM35 RX light mods cat back exhaust, plenum top, transgo kit, otherwise stock 14.9@93mph. Did three runs. All within 0.01 of each other. Anyway, had some fun. 60 foot was the same as with the turbo kit. ET was 1.1 sec slower.

I would say just off that info, that your haltech isn't set up to do the vq35de adjustable cam timing. It's not like the old rb/SR variable cam that is on or off, but actually a table of degrees that the ecu commands at different load and rev situations. Get the tuner to sort your mapping out, at worst you use the stock ecu to run the cams.
