  2. oh god how did I miss this thread, and this post.... love how original this guy was with his thread on what wheels to get, and choosing between two styles that apparently haven't been done "a gazillion times" *cough* ssr sp1 & work meister *cough* props to OP for changing it up after at least 5 years of unoriginality and sheep for enthusiasts haha
  3. hahahaha surprised no one has commented on the epic numberplate in the background "FUUARK"
  4. I moved 36 100kg treadmills today... who needs a gym haha
  5. Hand held machine? Hmm sounds like the one I've used which you hold on to and it gives you a reading (electronic). This machine has trouble determining fat from water at times so it isn't as accurate as a proper scan, but nonetheless it's good enough to get a rough idea. This is true but unless you take a glycogen gel type product immediately after you finish exercising, you're not really going to speed the process up between taking a "pure carb" supplement or just eating a bowl of rice. This is moreso related to using the ATP-PCR system anyway, so if the breaking down of aminos was so important, you would have to take pure glucose during the workout, not after (think about sprinters... they're sipping on that shit after a 100m race because their stores are depleted... not after 45min to an hour such as a workout).
  6. That's why I halve the serving Still end up with 126 or so grams of carbs and something like 26 grams of protein.... I also add a cup of oats though as you mentioned, a banana, and 200g of yoghurt. Yum
  7. EM 1... Didn't know Ewen McGregor lived in WA and owned a 34 lol
  8. How pricey is Bulk Nutrients? I use Dymatize Super Mass gainer and it costs me $80 for a 5.45kg box
  9. As mentioned, only 1-3 dimethyl products are being hit with the ban stick. Also, I would do a bit more research towards the statement I have outlined there. There is both research to back up the use of simple carbs AND/OR complex carbs post workout, because it is often said that the whole "insulin spike" phenomenon is a lot more bro-science bodybuilding related, than true fact. Whether you consume simple or complex carbs post workout will not substantially change your lean muscle gains. The "anabolic window" statement also makes me laugh a bit due to the fact that post workout is the most pro-catabolic period in your day, very far from being anabolic (you've just broken down muscle fibres and caused more damage than muscular atrophy due to low protein synthesis would). Not trying to sh!t on your comment, just providing a bit of food for thought.
  10. While starting strength is a good program it's flawed in the sense that not everyone has the same fitness goals, and it doesn't cater for such goals. It's like if a PT were to give every single person that walks into the gym the same damn program... bit useless for some goals really. Try something new
  11. you look really gross though tbh.. something about your skin just looks off-putting
  12. Yeah i got into a habit of going to bed at about 3am recently because I'm on holidays from CIT. This caused me to get the flu, so I took a week off of training and started going to sleep at midnight, no later. First day back was last night and I'm feeling great now
  13. Xtreme Motorsports seem to be bringing in a lot of nice looking 34's recently... Are their cars in as good condition as the pics seem to portray??
  14. Don't be jealous of his inner biceps development and diagonal triceps man... bet he had to fap real hard to get gains like that
  15. lol beat me to it... Also you guys do realise maccas/kfc aren't all that bad when you look at some of the menu options (there's some high protein chicken options) Just the fact that those two guys appear to be Islanders has me thinking it's their genetics. Who hasn't had an Islander friend at school or the gym who makes you feel puny as hell???
  16. damn.. if I was privileged enough to own a bnr34 I sure wouldn't let it go 6 weeks without a wash.
  17. I weigh 88kg and struggle to bench 90kg for 6 reps... sad face
  18. Chris Evans from Captain America. This guy is looking real swole
  19. I fire the same question at you Birds, what is your weight?
  20. damn son that sucks.. I know what it's like to get injured again just as you recovered and thought good progress was starting to happen.. head up, soldier on
  21. +1 ...help us out Chef
  22. Didn't know millenium jade had an autumn pink/orange shade to it?
  23. This is very true, as you mentioned though, I personally merely use it to supplement the natural sources in my diet, not to rely on as an excuse to eat crap with next to no nutritional value. Same thing applies to protein powders... funny how it's called a supplement, yet some people rely on it to make up their entire protein intake daily.
  24. I've always loved how Bayside Blue can be as bright as the sky on a perfect sunny day, and deep blue like the sea on a cloudy day... what an amazing colour, and great shots to capture it.
