  1. SCAM???? no way, the number of posts made by the OP is enough to reassure me.. So, how much meat do you get offa these lil critters? .....just asking, nothing suss....
  2. as I understand it, too much neg camber can wear out the inside of tyres, but wrong toe setting will *prematurely* wear out inside of tyres, as a result of them 'scrubbing' across the surface rather than smoothly rolling.
  3. U might be better off getting suspension check done at fulcrum or pedders then before swapping anything camber, make sure nothing's worn out. I had combo of control arm bush and ball joint wear, killed inside of both front tyres.
  4. +1 for a dynamic toe issue, worn tie rods or rack ends. Most people would want that much front camber on a skyline . How low is the car?
  5. you could lose a degree on the back so yeah, camber items mightn't be a bad idea. Yr in Brissy hey?, would that wheel alignment be from Fulcrum?
  6. midnight purple, nice shade that one. Looks good.
  7. damn straight son, do the right handling mods to the r33 and they handle just dandy. Whereabouts in Qld are you? I'm out of money to spend on my car lol so if you need a hand with anything on yours give us a yell.
  8. Yep tie rods inner and outer are cheap really. Might as well do as part of a suspension feshen up.before u buy the bc's, don't get me wrong, they're firm and take getting used to coming straight from stock, but by no means 'too hard'
  9. To point out the obvious, as gtsboy says sbove, a new bilstein/spring combo will cost u Alot more than a set of new bc's, and the OP was talking about doing on a budget. Don't doubt they're a great setup, for the price range bc's a great solution. Ppl saying coilovers is like ppl saying sway bars, or boost cut. Everyone knows what it means, no need to get menstrual about it.
  10. I've found the adjustable damping on the bc's makes a huge difference so yes if set hard they would be just that, hard. Mine are about 8 clicks in, i wouldn't have gone a softer spring rates, even with bumpy-ass qld roads,,,and i was leaning twds the softer rates before i sctually got them
  11. also I wouldn't use stock shocks, new or not, with lowered springs again. You really need a stiffer shock for the lower ride.
  12. agreed, outer toe-arm rose joint would almost certainly mean tie rod ends, about $30 a side for Roadsafe ones. Given you took the car there and Pedders have actually checked it out I'd be inclined to go with, they do need replacing. My inners needed replacing after 120,000k's, did outers as well just coz. Anyway I'll flog the BC BR angle again anyway, cos mine have been great, and for $1300 delivered you get a whole strut x4, forget about just replacing the shocks, bump stops, boots, and so on. They're also ALOT lighter than a standard coilover, shorter and smaller and easier to work on/around. Otherwise bilstein shocks, king low springs, but think that plus all the bits would work out more.
  13. i say no...no to high prices, and my bank account says yes...yes to selling this stufff cos it needs cash. Prices have been given a roundhouse kick to the face and 25% off for the rest of the week. DO IT
  14. yeah looks lower than a bro should go, king lows will have it sitting nicer.
  15. import dudes need to stop going to Pedders, leave it for the commo crowd. Would need to see the report but if its for full coilover kit; get BC BR's $1300 delivered and spend a few hours sat arvo to put them in, job done. Don't think there's anything wrong with Pedders stuff per say, you just pay alot more for it than you might have to shopping around.
  16. yeah get low not superlow and you should be fine, i never had no issues
  17. just fyi Nissan discontinued brake calibers from R31 onwards and started using brake calipers, for consistency with the other automotive manufacturers.
  18. yeah is totally where do u live again
  19. All items in Brisbane Qld, can collect or post at buyer's cost. First up, Magnaflow 200cell metal cat converter with temp bung to suit r33/skylines etc. Around 2 years old, intact and not blocked as per pics, in fact great cond all round. $150 GKTech wheel studs to suits R33 and others, refer to their website for full specs on vehicles suited. Standard length set of front and rear, both half-used (did passenger side of car before deciding to run spacers and longer studs, so never used other half of set) and only minimal k's on ones used, still as new and fine to be reused. $20 a set, will discount on postage for these if needed. Kinugawa TD05 10cm turbine housing with skyline dump flange. Mild porting to T3 inlet to match adaptor, and wastegate ported out for a little better flow. Less than 2000 k's on it before I moved to the 8cm housing, so in excellent cond. $90 Kinugawa TD05 18g compressor housing, with anti-surge. Had ordered a non antisurge housing but they sent this by mistake so has only had minimal use until new housing arrived, as good as new. $75 Pm is best, thanks.

  21. .....do you mean adjustable coilovers, or any stock coilovers in good cond will do?
  22. yeah no shit it was just the feeling, how many ppl do you know outside of car companies that have rigs to test chassis flex....If you drive it and it feels better to you, then it's a good result. i actually didn't think it would do anything, was just curious, so not like I had convinced myself it would feel better with it fitted.
  23. Thos will be falling on to alot if deaf ears i think, but i recently fitted a b-pillar brace which made a noticable difference to reducing chassis flex (rear inside wheel lifts more in corner, less felx/droop), whereas i couldn't feel any difference with front strut tower brace.
  24. Fark some negative kunz here...drift it stock if he needs, my man in cooroy will tell u all about that...do what u can eith funds, then build up from there, happy days
