  1. If you'e buying new discs, buy caliper adapters, run gtr discs = big difference. Best bang for buck upgrade IMO
  2. I Thought auto and manual starters were different, but not something i'd looked into that much to say for sure.
  3. they're not side specific, one side fits all.
  4. does the second hand still work?
  5. if you find out let me know. I believe the pulley has a star-lug and pressed on but the issue would be, the harmonic balancer track would still be different to the p/s pulley if you changed the no. of ribs.
  6. sounds like a racist.
  7. nice mate, welding's looking neat.
  8. if the cheapass saas, monza, autotechnica etc seats can be adr approved it would be hard to see why the decent bride seats couldn't be. Would need to be quick-tilt type for 2doors though, soemthing about ease of exit in emergency...that's about all i know on it though
  9. oh and a stud is a stud, a bolt is a bolt....no 'stud bolts' as far as i am aware..
  10. Gktech might have them back in stock. I got mine from tas autosport off ebay thou, about $6 each i think? But i think front is 13.sonething shoulder. 12 is rear?
  11. nice LA and SF shots mate, Golden Gate bridge looks awesome.... doing a road trip thru that part of the world has been on my list for a long time.
  12. He's not using the turbosmart eboost. He's using the profec.....which recommends set gain a cpl of psi below target boost. Why would he follow the instructions of a different manufacturer for a completely different boost controller rather than that of the one he is using...?
  13. if your target boost is 11psi you can probably bring up the set gain from 70 (7psi) to 90 or 95, bit closer to your desired boost level.
  14. sure, well corner referred to is kind of a ? mark shape, entered from the curve-end. When getting back on throttle coming round 90deg section off to the left, the 'transitional' feeling during weight transfer one side to the other was reduced and a more solid feel to the rear end when applying power, as a basic explanation. Some people might be less sensitive to this than others...
  15. Actually it is famous for being " the car of the people", first made on Germany in the 1930's, designed to be longlasting, reliable and easily affordable transport for everyday people. It's just that alot of people don't know that, as at the time it was made with a different body and engine to the AE86 and by a different manufacturer.
  16. I have one, brisbane northside, in relatively good cond (relative to one in shit condition) couple of neatly drilled holes to run bc coilver adjusters thru but otherwise pearler.
  17. so it's fair to say you're giving them a "glowing' review....? hehehehe.........yep, you get it.
  18. have you tried the King springs? i had them on my ST185 and they were rubbish, but they had made the same spring for ST184 and just listed it as applicable for both models (one is n/a fwd, other is turbo awd). When I used the King low springs on my R33, i was pleasantly surprised....
  19. (edit*first decent corner) Nah no offense but how about i don't bother. My experience is there as feedback, take or leave it, up to you.
  20. Or, what i call, too much theory not enough practice. Come back to me once you've tried before and after, not just ' i think it would do this'
  21. see, this ain't right. I just finished making my boot-brace, modelled off the GTRS15 one linked above, and mann, you feel it as soon as you go around the first corner. Definitely worth doing but then I guess that's why Nissan bothered starting to put them on straight outta factory.
  22. have pm'ed you re parts and your budget. Lucas pads are likely to be listed as TRW, who also make Remsa, pretty much the same pad apparently. Plenty of good reviews on here about them and I believe the best value pad for their price range, my set has lasted for years now, no noise, fair bit of dust though but so what, just shows it's working . agreed, urethane bushes pretty much all the same. Adjustable is better but they're expensive for what they are. The non-adjustable is about half the price and still firms up the front nicely.
  23. Also what location are you? Might be someone that could help with a few things and save some $$
  24. Brake pads, the lucas/ remsa pads have been great for me and only about 80 a set. Tyres, have had the toyo t1r's, very good, and proxes4, didn't like them. For the radius bushes, for 171, i would recommend just spend 14 more and get a set of hardrace adjustsble rods, 185 delivered off ebay
