  1. If it's not eccentric/offset, i can't see that it would matter...is this for r33gtst?
  2. Wow. Joining the pack mentality, that's so tough. I wouldn't run one of these ecu's either, but - Blitz are well known tuning company, quite likely they'd done some tuning and research as to what works best as an 'average tune' for the basic upgrades of intake, exhaust, boost increase, and it could feasibly plug in and run reasonably well. Could. Not to say it would, but could. And sounds like no one on here but OP actually has tried and knows. If i had one, and a dyno and monitoring gear handy, i'd plug it in and see how it runs too.
  3. Ahhh....me actually, cos i looked at that option and decided it was a shit idea, easier to just make something new up. The kinugawa bracket can be fitted to stock turbo btw...I'll leave it with u...
  4. The bracket is part of the assembly so you would need to cut it off anyway. Some plate steel or alum would do the job...?
  5. Thats interesting Daleo, i have one on an rb25 and am in Brisbane where at the moment, friggin hot, and often is. I've had no oheating issues and it holds the same spot on the temp gauge. I don't have a digital gauge but when i have monitored temp via consult after drag runs, the temp stays the same/ even as with the stock fan. It is bloody loud tho lol. From your report it might ve worth doing more temp datalogging though.
  6. Sounds alot like a few posts already by some other user, is your name matty...? And what is the point of thread; i just searched carsales.com and there was at least one gtr for sale in australia... possibly more. Not hard to find. But.....Are you offering a finder's fee? My rates are unreasonable but my service is top notch, i'll get you that car. You said you wanted a red one right?
  7. Turbo timer. Or, time/space continium glitch, so the passage of time keeps looping and the car will NEVER turn off until you break the loop. You are in the matrix. I wish it was the 2nd but more likely turbo timer.
  8. I put in new nismo mounts, and then one of these braces, and did notice a difference with it. My car is auto though, so i couldn't say for manual, but it did get rid of some of the 'slush'. They look like a gas shock but are just a metal rod going into the tube, with a hard rubber block in the middle. So it doesn't actually move more than a couple of mm under compression and fixes the engine in place while still not making it rigid with no vibration/small movement absorption.
  9. I can promise you, if you help me get the sale through, i'll give you one half of what i don't make on the deal. My word is bond.
  10. My congrats to you for selling so many parts with no pics or prices. Seriously, good work.
  11. Ican see by your lack of reply clearly you are keen about the deal. I do special price for you my friend.
  12. I am in Brisbane, and I have such a turbo, ripe to be hiflowed. Housings and centre section in prime cond, just has a clicky bearing. How much are you offering for this alleged 'purchase'...?
  13. I just used a selftapping roofing screw, they have a reallly flat head too so sits flush in the limited space there
  14. would imagine flames would give you 1000x street cred in semi rural area....?
  15. I tried turbosmart kompact, its way smaller inside than stock bov and gave me turbo flutter. Thought it was shite, snd ditched it, put stock back on. Small hole is 'slight leak' making the on/off of bov smoother but less responsive. Plug it up as scotty says, better from a performance point of view.
  16. saw something similar in a 'foreign film' recently, only with a purple dildo fitted in the business end. The user had good aim, i'll say that much.
  17. Agreed, if issue is happening with timing set where it should be, don't 'solve' it by advancing timing. Could well be auto trans pressue issue though, if not engaging overun clutch properly to keep engine revs up when going to closed throttle? I think, anyway, its what mine is doing and the issue i'm looking into.
  18. I was extremely careful to measure sizes and allocate to right chambers as per workshop manual so hopefully not but anythings possible.
  19. Yeah but would be surprised if cusco bushing has same dimensions as oem. Anyway poly bushes aren't usually a force-fit, it should judt push in by hand without that much effort. Measuring with verniers will tell you soon enough.
  20. Clearly seller is meaning 'engine is forged' in the other sense of the word....
  21. Isnt that a cusco upper arm, not stock? But on oem arms yes u remove internal metal ring and fit superpro bush straight into bare arm(on r33 gtst)
  22. Ask to see room at hotel, steal toothbrush kit from bathroom while viewing room, then tell them u don't like 'the vibe' of the room and don't check in. Raid salvo's bin and nab old t shirt. Result, free tools for headlight mod. But agreed, thread title could be 'broke-ass mods' or similar. Anyway, 2 faves are, plug up bypass hole in base of bov for more responsive throttle, and 3in pipe into rubber intake mods. Cheap n good.
  23. I thought it was stupid Windows 8 issue not sau, as I have the same problem posting on extremelysexysex.com.....I mean, another website... but yeah yeah the bbcode thing seems to work fine for quote/paste/attach..
  24. there's no replies below.......oh wait daaang. You win this round Benc34
  25. thanks man that's appreciated, guess I would need to hook up a pressure gauge and do some testing then. I spoke to an auto trans workshop today about it and his feedback was that something wasn't sealed right and pressure was draining away, causing it not to engage. It could well be, although I was pretty careful to make sure everything lined up right and put back in correctly. I really don't know anything about auto's other than what I'm slowly learning from the workshop manual so extensive troubleshooting is out of my depth. The loss of engine braking in 3rd makes the car worse overall to drive really as it's lacking feedback to part-throttle, so worst case will remove valve body and reinstall the original springs.
