That 33 there is mint! i loved it. Whoever owns it has got a beauty! It's like the cleaner, nicer, more standard version of mine.

First time out in the pirate ship 12.024 @ 112.97 MPH with a 1.74 60' Stoked!

I was giving the thumbs up to a nice black R35 with boost mobile stickers on it this arvo going under the runway and then saw a nice R33 GTST with a black bonnet in the tunnel.

Stock vs stock i'd take the GTR. Yes the new commodore's have more power and torque however they are also listed at 1700+ KG so 1800+ with driver. That means the power to weight ratio's are similar (6.94 GTR vs 6.3 SS). As the SS is RWD with a lot of torque, it will be much harder to get off the line and up to speed where as the 32 GTR can dial up 5K, sidestep the clutch and disapear without much of a fuss. The SS will have a little bit more top end but it's got to have the right stretch of road or track to even utilise that advantage and then it will still have to pull back the gap the GTR has gained from getting off the line. I had a wildly modified soarer in the past that made nearly 400rwkw and it would get slaughtered by GTR's all the time because it didn't have the room required to wind up. Mind you if it did get into 3rd gear on boost it'd be a different story, but it proved to me the point about having usable power.

Saw a mean looking R34 GTR heading south on the M5 this morning around 7ish, if it was anyone here i gave you the thumbs up stuck in traffic in the 33 GTR.

Is it the manual or did they come with the tiptronic? I used to see a few as there is a mod in Leichhardt that specialises in Alfa's that services a fair few of them as well.

Hi Guys, I'm after a standard R33 or R34 GTR gear knob in immaculate condition. The rest of the interior is spotless so i'm looking for something that has next to no visible wear on it. Cheers, Luke

I keep seeing a nice red R35 GTR heading the other direction on the M5 and followed a V35 4 door for a bit of the way this morning as well.
