  1. Im not sure how ur standard ecu is running the car... but before you do ANYTHING go get an ECU and get it tuned! Even if its with standard injectors/afm/fuel system blah blah as slapping a big turbo on and raising boost without any form of tune is just asking to blow the motor!
  2. I personally dont think its worth going a brand name exhaust, if hes said turbo back without dumps... well its not turbo(s) back then lol Have a look on the forums for gtr exhaut bits, get yourself some dumps, front pipes, cat and a nice large (3.5') cat-back exhaust!
  3. Thanks for pointing that out! I swear it didnt say GTR in the title before... lol Yes i was refering to a GTST, GTR with a full exhaust and boost up with give you plenty of fun times
  4. There is alot of hp to gain from doing a turbo-back exhaust system and Id look at that before you consider management! If your still not happy then throw on a boost controller for 1bar with a front mounted intercooler kit. Still not happy then go the power fc and tune, and maybe an rb25 turbo charger as its slightly bigger!
  5. Ok for all you cheapies who dont want to spend over $20 i got one for you... More suited to stock coolers as when the fmic gets put on ill get an actual kit running pressure pumps etc for it! I went to bunnings and bought some cable along with a water mister. Simply undo the water line that runs to the rear window (also undo power supply to rear window wiper so it doesnt come on everytime you go to spray your cooler) on the washer bottle in the engine bay and hook the new cabling onto that. Then run the cabling down to the intercooler (next to cooler piping). Tie it up with cables ties/tape blah blah to hold it in place and then when ever you push the lever for the rear window washer it will spray water onto your stock cooler I noticed little power difference but went for a bit of a run without it and felt the cooler, it was quiet warm on a cold night, then went for another run using the water spray and felt the cooler which was nice and cold! As i said the idea is cheap and more suited to a stock intercooler but never the less its not a bad way to spend an hour or so to lower intake temps and keep your intercooler cool
  6. Bit generic question... starting = 1psi? Also depends on mods too, a full exhaust will spool up a turbo quicker than a standard exhaust... more boost = earlier boost too... If the car is dead standard or say just a cat-back id say that would be fairly close to right... maybe a few psi before 3,500rpm in 2nd but nothing too noticeable if its standard
  7. mobile1! 10w40 or 5w50 if your motors gettin on in life hehe
  8. Although it may not make to much difference, Id only use Apexi or Blitz, simply because they do good jobs and dont need replacement/cleaning! You have fmic + 3.5' zorst and ur puttin out 196rwkw? Without tuning? Usually you'll get that figure with a power fc... but not stock ecu i thought, pretty decent.
  9. that 32 is just insanely hot... i love it!! The clear side indicators are awsome and that paint is immaculate! Nice
  10. Looks way to nice for a stock 180 dude! not suprised you grabbed it. Heres some of my 32
  11. That makes so much more sence... i always wondered why boost seemed to come on earlier and stronger on 1bar than on 0.8bar! The wastegate opens later because of boost levels bein higher blah blah and you get more boost earlier. This is awsome because now i know i wasnt just thinking it, i knew it came on earlier on high boost!
  12. From what ive read yes your idea is 110% correct, its about keeping the exhaust gas's and wastegaste gas's away from each other for aslong as possible in the system to reduce the turbulence and increase the efficency, having a bigger dump would mean that the gases aren't fighting each other quiet as much as in a small one to rush down the same pipe in a similar direction
  13. I put mine down then simply un-plugged it.. now i scrape it everywhere but its ok becoz i plan on a gtr bumper soon so i kinda just laugh lol You can play with the wiring to make it come down and up when you want which would be best, but i cbf gettin an electrition for that when im just gonna change the whole bar! In regards to what it does obviously it will create some downforce on the front end of the car otherwise i cant see it severing any purpose, wont deflect air into the radiator as its located behind the main opening of the front bar, so I think its only for the downforce
  14. Good to hear that as im goin to put the few hundred extra needed into a split as ive only read/heard that they are much better than the cheap open bell mouth 3' dumps!
  15. You think there is anything wrong with the Hybrid intercooler copy kits floating around for about $450ish atm Roy??? Otherwise what would you recommend... Ive seen 170rwkw on a stock rb20 turbo a few times so shouldn't be too much hassel but dont expect much more outta it regardless of how much boost you decide to push through it lol
  16. Hey peeps Looking for R32 floor mats in MINT condition, only really want drivers side but will take passenger or all of them if need be Email me at [email protected] or PM me with any information! Thanks all Regards Jazza

  19. Happy to take the sunroof glass, I pm'd you on the 27th then again after so let me know your details when you can mate.
  20. wow thanks for the help Randy! Heaps appreciated dude I also figured its more an electrictians job than an a/c dude
  21. Id say an SAFC should net you around 250+rwhp with those a/f ratios... so personally yeh Id go and do it
  22. Remember this is for an R33 not R32 aswell peeps hehe Im not real keen on doing it myself to be honest mate, dont have the time or patience! I will ring around a few air-con places if nobody has any better recommendations in Perth (preferably SOR). Thanks for the help Randy!
  23. Hey peeps The air-con fan has seemed to stop working in the R33... its a 1996 model and the rest of the system seems fine to me. Its not a fuse either as i checked that. Anyone know where i can take this to be checked/fixed? Nissan told me they dont know to much about R33s as they where imports but they'd have a look... is this the best bet? I was thinking someone who knows the car's and works on them regually would be better but i dont know any1 for air-conditioning things lol Any help would be apprecaited, its getting hot lol Regards Jazza
  24. Damn and Nissan said because they didnt bring them in they dont know too much about them but they'd have a look... they charge through the roof aswell and if they dont know what they are looking for maybe ill go with someone else lol Maybe ill take it to an air-con place, thanks for ne help There is a DIY thing on here but damn its way too complicated lol
