  1. Agreed. Good luck with the sale Shane, though they shouldn't stick around too long
  2. Thanks Liam It's been a lot time in the making, and still a bit more to do, but everything that has been done so far has been to a quality I'm really happy with. I thought if it's going to be gone that long then it had better look like it was time, and money, well spent. No vids as yet as my POV cam batteries died on the day after a few minutes of each recording... but I'll gt some up after HH this month. Yep, sold the Clubby and bought the STi about 6 weeks ago. Loving it! Nice choice of ute man, they're fat as and sound great. I was just after something smaller again as the Clubby was a bit big for me and getting on in the km's department, and I didn't require my daily to be my tow car anymore. Great daily though
  3. Shoot, didn't realise it was gone that quick. Might have to make it sooner rather than later!
  4. I'd say you should be fine with those, can you not try them out?
  5. What type of Enkei's are they? Dished or no dish? Seems like a good size, with worst case being a small slip on spacer but you should be fine as the stock calipers are quite a bit thinner than S14/15 calipers from memory.
  6. Not that I've seen as yet mate, but check the WRX Club forums over the coming days.
  7. Never mind, questions answered above
  8. Thanks guys, I'm really happy with how it's turned out after all these years not running. I'm not quite game enough to say it was worth it as yet, but maybe when I drive it with another 60rwkw's or so I will be slightly more persuaded! I'll definitely bring it to NSW once it's sorted though. I want to do OP before it closes, so I'll probably do Superlap next year if it's still there, but hopefully I can get up there sooner. Nice video too, pity about your tyres though! I'm running on 5 year old semi's at the moment to try and get some of that out of my system before the freshies go on. As for the wriring Ross, it all went pretty smoothly from what I'm aware. There weren't any major electrical snags, other than getting the Splitfires to work with the HKS Twin Power, but that wasn't a wiring thing. Sam (my mechanic/auto elec www.drdrift.com.au) had nothing but praise for the Painless kit, and is going to get one for his own car now.
  9. Awesome track, awesome car and awesome driving mate! I had a smile on my face the whole video I want a Caterham...
  10. That sucks man, you'll have to get out there soon though. Dean said he sometimes goes to Winton open days, which I'm thinking about going to one day. I'm hanging for a PI day though
  11. Thanks a lot Stu, appreciate the kind words! It still needs a clean and tidy up, with the headlights put on etc, then it will look a lot better. Definitely want to get to as many events as I can to get it dialled in for next year. I can't wait to try out the new alignment settings, should be a big improvement. Have you had a chance to get yours out again?
  12. Here's hoping Greg, got some catching up to do though as Dean, Ryan and Adam are flying! Car is looking the goods man, and the bay is neater than some I've seen! I was going to go crinkle black originally, looks great. Have you been pulled over yet? It's pretty stealthy... and when are you going to come for a run! HH at the end of the month??
  13. Fantastic stuff mate, well done. Love the dash. Upload some video when you can, I'd love to hear it!
  14. Good one for the newbies I think, in any car too. Just one really sketchy section and as long as you take it easy on it then it's fine. Entered
  15. Nice one Baron! I got mine for around the $200 mark from memory which I was pretty happy with, and I got one for my mechanic for around the same price a few years later, but I only see them pop up every now and then. I bought mine maybe 5 years ago! Greg is that your engine bay? Looks neat mate Here's some pics again due to forum implosion. I'm getting a new camera this week, so I'll take some decent one when I get it Until then the rest can be found on: http://project180sx.blogspot.com/
  16. That's awesome, great pics too mate. Now that Le Mans has been ticked off my list, it's the Nurburgring 24hr, Monte Carlo/Finland/Gemany WRC rounds and Goodwood left of the majors!
  17. Not yet Daniel, but I'm still planning on it when the car has a few other bits and pieces sorted out first, I only got it back last week. I'll keep this thread updated when I do
  18. Well I just has a wheel alignment on the weekend and I can see why the car felt so off! Front Toe +7.5mm left and +8mm right Rear Camber -2.25 left and -.5 right Should feel a lot better now Jarrod: Nice photo's mate! Some really good ones in there, well done
  19. Just watched the video's of BIGRED Adz, nice driving mate. The car looks a hell of a lot easier to drive now than at the last few trackdays, you must be stoked. Does it feel that much better in the car?
  20. Agreed, they don't seem to be updated as much anymore which is a big shame.
  21. Thanks mate, shame I didn't get to clean it up a bit before I came but it's getting there. How times change hey?! Now everyone has massive rims with big offset... Youd idn't damage your TE's did you? Bris: Haha nice mate!
  22. It definitely looked like a well prepped car, and sounded great too. Goes to show that suspension setup and talent are they key! Pink180: Was yours the silver Sil80? Looked really nice mate, sorry to hear it's damaged.
  23. Cheers Ryan Not doing HH next month? A lot of people were spearing off the track on the sweeper on Saturday, Russ looked to have a wild ride in front of me in the second session! That is strange about the Datto. He overtook me at one point, but then I caught up through the back section and he was actually holding me up a bit before the session finished. He must have been super quick through the first part of the track as I wasn't going quickly. It was the blue one right?
  24. The Jetspeed WRX with the Jet's painted on it is driven on the street all the time now, see it on Westall Rd.
