  2. White smoke isn't oil its coolant. Take it back to them mate. If its built and tuned by them it should be warranted.

You had to take it too literally didn't ya? 🤦‍♂️ The turbo is 100% a critical part as it determines the powerband of your engine, the drivability of the car, but its also a critical part that determines the engines reliability/longevity. If turbos are an afterthought does that mean if you build your motor you can just bolt on 1300hp turbo onto the side of it? None of the other internal components need to be a little different? Pretty dumb huh? 🤔
  4. When you build a TURBO car literally the most important part is THE TURBO... Man that hurts my brain... Buy a cheap shit turbo then it dies or performs shit then what? You're up for a new turbo, The install costs AGAIN, Potentially new lines and fab work AGAIN, another tune, if its flex fuel there's $300 in E85 & 98. Plus your time driving there and back and rooting around organising a lift etc. Its DUMB!
  5. Its very on topic man Its a blatant SXE rip off. Which aren't expensive anyways? Why not buy the real deal for peace of mind instead of something that's potentially gunna take your donk out with it? I really don't know how they get away with it? Who are these people who have reviewed them and what are they comparing them to? Have they driven something decent before or are their minds blown cos they "made more power" Be a good little saver a bit longer and buy an Australian or U.S product. Why not support the people that support you? Forget the Yum cha turbo and the grubs who are about to kick off WW3 & who have almost single handedly f**ked the global economy.. This goes out to all you Ebay racers!
  6. Yes 100% cos those sleazy kunce rip off big companies designs who actually put R&D into their products. (Which no doubt is what adds to their cost) then slap these things together and undercut them with their products. Fark China we need to boycott them and their sleazy products. Give them a taste of their own medicine!

  9. How much do you like drone? At least 80% of my work comes from guys with these Exhausts who get sick of having their eardrums bashed from Titanium exhausts.
  10. Here's my 7670 with a little more boost added in. We are at 129K now. Pretty much going to leave it where it is now. Highest power I have seen here in Oz is 418kw ALL IN (on an evo too) that power was made on 235s. My car runs 265s and I have actually back to back tested my car from 235s to a 265 on the exact same tyre (Hankook RS4's) and I lost almost 15kw between the 2 sizes lol.

  12. Nice result mate bet she's good fun to drive! 8374 really is 1 of my favourite turbos! They are very beastly to drive! Do you have a turbo tacho? Know what RPM you're at? My car goes in for the last few psi in a couple weeks. It will turn all 4 in 1st now so see if she can make the tyres scream in 2nd with the last few psi haha! The 7670 is also a little beast to drive on the street

  14. I was talking to Scott & Dom Rigoli at insight after having my car tweaked (when news of Garrett folding) just came out. Which i brought up during conversation, which got us talking about G series stuff. Dom said he had a customer S15 that he built running a G25 550.. He wasn't overly impressed by how it drove. Car made 300-320kw from memory. But he said it really didn't do much before 4000rpm. He said once it was on it was nice but took a while to wake up. I've recently finished 2 G series cars and I'm hanging for them to be finished so I can see what they are all about 1st hand. A 2.2L Evo with a G35 900 and a GTR with a dirty 30 and a 1050. Will report back when cars are done.

  16. For those interested here's my Evo 9 and 7670 1.05 result. Alternator was getting sad so we capped it at that for now. Turbo speed is 126K out of 140k so there's still a bit left in the tank. We also capped torque at 670nm to keep my gearbox happy. My tuner believes there's probably around 420kw & 700+nm of torque in it on full send mode.
  17. Absolutely the abs will need bleeding. Its 1 of the highest points in the system so the air will definitely make its way there.

  19. So you have contradicted yourself with your reply to my last post lol. I do this for a living (on the side) so I think I'd know. Mufflers & metal make ALL THE DIFFERENCE.
  20. Don't listen to any of those suggestions. Steer clear of Jap exhausts. Judging by the Vids you want something on the louder scale? Muffler size is the key. I have a 3.5" exhaust on my car and its quiet and has absolutely no drone & could be easily daily driven & it gets no attention by the boys in blue
