  1. Did you trip over all your boxes and land on the keyboard fatz? ?
  2. No there was more to it than that. And that was only 1 incident. There were a few attempts to add new firmware patches etc prior. Luckily his coils weren't fried when adding said firmware updates...
  3. Yeah I can't fault them for forgetting tunes. Oh wait yes I can... Multiple times actually ?
  4. At least an emtron will fit in a bin. How many bins required for Haltech?
  5. Haha my fuel system is done. It's only a Pleb spec Radium hanger and twin 525s unfortunately. But it delivers the fuel I require and I don't have a boot full of junk ?‍♂️
  6. Say hello to 243kw & mountains of 6 speed busting torque Benny! I reckon NASA would almost consider taking the astronauts out to the lift for the shuttle in this thing mate! It's gunna be WILD bro! Imagine doing 0-100 in 4.9 seconds?! Imagine a guy in a space suit in your drivers seat?! Imagine if he farted in that space suit in your car in your drivers seat?! Imagine the stories you can tell your Latina grandchildren in the Favela?! Exciting times bro....... EXCITING TIMES!
  7. Albins requires mods on all GTR's to fit. Though they are almost ready to release a box that bolts in with no mods to the tunnel.
  8. That statement is completely wrong! A GTR is a walk in the park when comparing the 2 unfortunately. Sadly the longer a GTR has lived in Japan the more chance it's been driven in the snow more and has more rust, more salt all over it. Unless you can inspect it in the flesh I'd be very reluctant to buy 1. I've seen a car brought here as a grade 4.5 from a broker who is regarded as the best on this Forum and I can assure you he should have his ass handed to him for the price the customer paid and the actual condition the car was in. When I say this I genuinely mean if he said to me "here's yours $70K S2 R33 GTR grade 4.5" My response would have been "ok quit playing guys where's my car?!" Like I'm talking legal action bad.. There's no way I would have accepted the car.
  9. Why would you care less about the Evo being scratched or crashed than the GTR if either car is your pride and joy? ? Obviously you can expect this kind of reply in a Skyline forum probably asking in the wrong place lol. Stock for Stock an Evo 9 is absolute world's ahead of a GTR in every aspect. Obviously its a much smarter, high tech engine and driveline that is not from the Jurassic period like an RB26 and it's Landcruiser AWD setup. The GTR/RB26 is a lethargic nugget on the street. (Sorry guys but it is) It has tall ratio gears, it makes f**k all torque down low thanks to it's short stroke, laggy turbos, low compression motor and short runner intake manifold. Don't get me wrong I love GTR's and I have driven MANY in every capacity available with all of the usual twin turbo options and also in many popular single turbo options I've also driven them almost every gearbox option available from stock 5/6 speeds, gearsets & sequentials. There's no denying the soundtrack an RB makes compared to a 4G . A GTR requires seriously large amounts of $$$ to make them street friendly. Don't expect to keep up with "modern commuter cars" in traffic in a 5 speed RB26 lol unless your foot is buried into the carpet and you're above 5000rpm. IMO the only way a GTR can be appreciated properly is in spirited hills runs or on the track. The evo on the other hand is the opposite world of a GTR, it's super responsive, it's torquey down low, it has short gearing to make it feel very Zingy on the street ,there's really no comparison between the 2 ( realistic you can't compare) as there's well over a decade of tech and engineering in the Evo over the R32. Evo has far superior handling over a GTR. Yes this is subjective as alot of blokes love the RWD feel the GTR gives but it has nowhere near the grip or agility of an Evo. The Stock turbo on the Evo even to this day 1 of the best setups on a car to date. Its capable of 270kw on E85 with almost N/A like response. It's really quite hard to beat on the street & because it has short gearing and killer response you don't have to be doing 5000+ rpm with long gears which means higher speeds to actually enjoy the power like a GTR. I obviously love my evo and I love GTR's and they may look similar on paper but both cars couldn't be further apart when you drive them back to back. Obviously the solution is drive both cars and see what you like the feel Of most! Awaiting flames.... ???
  10. So to give you a left of centre answer to this question.... I have driven a customers FP red (76mm compressor) journal bearing Evo 8 with a stock block which made 360kwatw rolling the power on in 2nd gear she was very urgent by around 3700/3800 rpm and obviously less and less in 3rd and 4th gear. So I think you're going to be very much the same if you have VCT etc as a 4G is probably similar/better than RB's for bringing turbos on song.
  11. THAT! ^^^^ Not trying to take anything away from that result as it's no doubt a f**king fast car! BUT an 8474 or above will go toe to toe with that all day. Particularly down low /midrange power.
  12. Thanks mate! That was exactly what I was thinking needed to happen. Unfortunately the owner is going to run with the spacers as he has been reassured there wont be a problem
  13. You will be too busy playing Scotty Cam won't you?
  14. Yep it's a serious bit of kit. I wouldn't be happy with it either. Think it would eventually crack the sump? Diff is obviously gunna be loaded up more on 1 side than the other. Especially when the motor running and twisting under power! As you can see the engine mount is floating on the chassis already
  15. In my opinion the motor needs to come out and the sump needs to be notched around the rack. You Can see in this pic here where the issue is and it's already been rubbing. What issues do you smart gents foresee happening in this situation?
  16. Gearbox cross member is also packed out on 1 side too
  17. Hi guys so I have a customer's car in ready for some fab work and something has caught my eye & I believe it's going to cause alot of issues but the customer has been reassured by his engine builder that its fine. But basically they have put a 10mm spacer under 1 engine mount to keep the sump off the steering rack. The mount isn't even sitting flush on the chassis either. Refer to 2nd picture. I will let the pictures do the talking. Appreciate any feedback you might have.
