And remember when all cop cars including unmarked ones were easily spotted having all the same 88 plates. Well not anymore, they been using normal plates for a while now and one of the all new 2004 unmarked car for the Osaka Police is a VQ25DET Stagea...it will be all too late when the disco lights are out .

what is so funny about saying that...or is this just for the newbies !
-
I can see him getting defected for changing the backlight.

Good point, but doesn't matter Nissan have used the same lettering but different numbers for different models before and I'm not talking about the same platform...like the Serena C24 and the Stagea C34. In case of same numbers WG C34 Stagea and GC C34 Laurel. Another rumour had it's links looking similar to the next Sentra SE-R...so which would you prefer...a Q16 ... I've given up on guessing likewise for the next GT-R...best to wait and see. edit: FYI...the above attachment is also very old photochop of a P12 Primera minus 2 doors, lowered and widened. Primera

You know you could get them through C-RED if they haven't already got them in...C-RED are closely affiliated with Kazama... You can also tell them I send you

is this so... Justin beat me to it...bastard! ...what is a S16? ...there is no such car, only rumours I've heard are V16 .

LOL...if only, the whole policing of traffic laws in Japan is simply. Break the law and you will get caught but at the same time you can be equipped with radars and the periodic revisions of where all the cameras are, so if you get caught your pretty stupid or deserve it. I would have expected people here to be talking about the fixed angle plates or swing plates, obviously when you pick up speed the wind pushes the plate horizontally back so it sits flat.
-
Can you choose them now? I did hear them revise the regulation a couple of months ago and what numbers they were up to. As for the illuminated ones...yes you have to pay extra...why would I want to pay extra to have my plates more visually clear if I accidently ran a red .

Smart ForFour and ForFour SUV = Colt underneath...so it's not a bad car for the target market which is traffic congested Asiand and European countries.

How to tell real GT-R from fake?
Evo_Lee replied to Horse's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
We have a problem telling the difference?...and I thought it was only a Lancer/Evo thing If you can't tell the difference between the genuine GT-R or Evo, your not a real enthusiast is what I say -
Do you guys really want to know what they think about the 32 and 33 here...? The 33 was not as popular model, go to any Nissan dealer here and they will tell you. Well if you you know them well enough (they may even show you sales figures...R30-popular, 32-popular, 34-popular) they will tell you. When the 34 came out, many 32 owners traded up to the 34...basically 32 owners didn't like the 33 so they held on to their 32 until the next revision. I guess it all depends when you first saw the Skyline, if you were around during the 32 but before the 33 then you will dislike the 33.

exactly...look at the current field and you will know why...shorter wheelbase, quicker for getting power to the ground.
-
it is correct that's what they called them...nickname! colleague still has his C210 and told me this before.

Your next car: a 2007 model holden commodore?
Evo_Lee replied to pentae's topic in General Automotive Discussion
mate, I totally understand the fustration those in Aust are experiencing. but what is more disturbing is young guys who just because now own an import think they are the true enthusiast when in actual fact these guys and quick buck importers have already f**ked it up for the true enthusiast. clearly 3 years is another time...who knows what will happen...don't think too far ahead tiger. -
it's a 1JZ...toymods.
-
Depends on what you want...all low volume sales. The shop usually just builds a few or one off performance engines and sell them off...most recently a 2bar S14b SR20 race engine. Not sure if they have any complete RB engines around at the moment.

Your next car: a 2007 model holden commodore?
Evo_Lee replied to pentae's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Bah, things are always changing...there will always be imports just not as many...only people I see whinging are you youngins. You're lucky to be at your age to be driving these turbo cars at this cost, be thankful your able to drive them...not too many more will come out from the land of the rising sun now... BNR34 for $30K...pffft, are you comparing this to today's exchange rates...Australia haven't had a strong exchange rate against the Yen for over 30 years...again aren't you lucky to see a period of strong Aussie dollar. The use of SAU or any forum to judge import popularity is not exactly a true indication, people use forums to discuss and exchange information. Comparing them to Ford and Holden forums is just silly, when information is common and garages can answer your questions. However it does indicate peoples interest in a particular model, so makers of that model may want to take note of it's popular following. -
They have been out for a while here...alot of these small cars are for markets which have very big population compared to Australia small 17Mil people....which is why they make alot of sense. I probably prefer the EK wagon Sports, but then perhaps you guys or Australia haven't come around to the styling or concept of small cars yet. There will always be a Colt model and was always going to be revived, it is one of MMC pioneering models going back 1962 IIRC. If every maker killed off a model because of poor sales or design of one model we wouldn't see anymore of them...falcons, commodores etc... Shell, I beleive the turbo version is the concept Colt Spider and the Colt Evo but it may only be primarily used for rally.
-
there are but they don't look very nice...Hyper Dolphin is perhaps the best I have seen.
-
They do change these items but I'd say it would be the last thing to change if they do...plus they cost a fair bit. One would go for a larger throttle before doing the plenums. Hell the Evo 4G63 plenums is great, demo cars are pushing out 600ps with them. We only touch the exhaust manifold side.
-
longer wheelbase = advantage on track... doesn't work that way unless you increase the F/R track...for that magic geometry setup.
-
the Autosalon shit seems to have catched onto you youngins...2 years and 8 months ago was when the trend started again, then the yanks thought it was good to follow on, making it look like they are the ones who are responsible for the popular return... FYI: there are conversion kits around for every car imaginable.
-
it's to show off the M5 V8 underneath ...anyway you will only see the front for a fraction of a second when it passes you on it's way to 315km/h.
-
love it...either that or ones of these...they both looks as silly or out of place but would you care what other people think
-
because no way are they going to be left unmodified ...but I do prefer the BNR32 shape...but the 89's around are getting rather rough, perhaps a later year one.
