  1. you can do a small mod to the rear seats reclining mechanism.. and modify the rear wall .... to make a split fold rear
  2. its just second that needs reducing. third and fourth feel pretty much unmodified
  3. yes i hope and no im not that happy as yet. Hoping their 1000km checkup will involve some adjustment or fine tuning The diff option list above is for USDM
  4. Pretty sure MV Automatics are a bit more detailed than that
  5. mine isnt transgo brand (its custom made), and it does hit second quite hard regardless of throttle position. but this is in a 4 speed...
  6. its funny going thru the car classifieds and seeing cars being advertised for $3000 more because people think a few mods make a car worth more. if anything, it decreases the value. having said that, i'm guilty of doing the same, advertising my previous BMW for an extra $3500 due to the shiny but cheap fitted parts... and even with an excessive amount of KM, a guy was still happy to pay the price without even test driving it. That was a car i wish i never sold.
  7. yep most people keep the original exhaust and springs hanging in the shed..
  8. since parking and driving in the city is getting impossible, i might get a car that doesnt need to comply with any rules http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5096/5392870392_dca639d1a5_z.jpg
  9. is this only for cars with the boot mounted cd stacker?
  10. funny part would actually have been the expression on his face when he realised it was non turbo
  11. i fill to 40psi front, 38psi rear on 20's. youre safer to be over than under in pressure in street applications
  12. my first was for 45 in a 40 zone, 14 years ago. i was still in first gear.....
  13. i never assume that someone has done the work even if it has receipts, its easy to knock up fake papers... same goes with odometer readings - theyre easy to wind back if needed. when you buy a second hand car, replace and FLUSH OUT every fluid - engine oil, coolant, trans, diff, brakes, power steer. all filters. i did all of this and still had my gearbox die a year later thru normal use. a $3000 repair due to a $10 clip breaking
  14. without the sticker, you just have to assume its not registered. pessimism pays in this instance which cavemen dont have phones with internet these days? or a maccas down the road to get free wifi?
  15. hang your front number plates on loose cable ties. as you drive faster, the wind pushes them up under the bumper and out of sight. im sure theres a way to rig the rear one to do something similar... or drive slower easy fixed
  16. interesting canister location. i was advised by people who "supposedly" know what theyre doing NOT to mount it sideways.... a heat shield would be the only thing i would add to that side
  17. if magnas were rear wheel drive they wouldve been on equal terms with holden and ford.... including the owners. Actually, if mitsubishi had gone down the rear wheel drive path, they would still be in production
  18. send him for a ride in a historic fighter plane? i think theyre based out of the deep south... does checkmates still exist? topless uni students serving meals.... then eat a can of fruit pieces off one of their stomachs for dessert...
  19. girls will be more impressed if you have your own place rather than a more bumpy ride.
  20. mum wants you to save your money so you can move into your own place.... which is actually the best choice
  21. it reduces the size of the nut behind the steering wheel
  22. is the underside of the oil cap milky? or is there oil in your coolant?
  23. depends if you want a cannon on the back or not... cheapest option is to drop the midpipe and get an exhaust shop to knock up a straight thru pipe or listen to the difference in setups i made at home http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/409286-dual-exhaust if you can find an exhaust parts wholesaler, you can buy things much cheaper
