  1. Currently on [tds] clan AU/NZ server
  2. Gaming computer has just blown up.... suspect this due to the el cheapo 750w coodmax power supply, and the fact the computer was quite dusty. Fkkkk. Hopefully nothing damaged except for power supply.
  3. Bought battlefield 4 today....currently installing. My origin gamertag is now BakemonoRicer Running an intel core i7 2600 CPU, turbo boost, GTX570 with 1280mb RAM, dual channel 16GB ram etc etc. Hopefully my PC will handle it
  4. Will there be any discussion about kill switches??
  5. I have heard the E36 BMW M3 really was a true drivers car. Really has a timeless shape as well. Any reason why you sold it off? Btw, have you heard of any E36 M3 GTR's in the country? Would be really cool to own one of those...very rare as well I suspect
  6. I've just messaged my mate about your R33, who may get in contact with you. He has a black 2007 VW Polo with 11 months rego, 97 xxx kms, full log books (and just completed major service) that he has just recently been looking to swap for something of similar value which is "JDM"... Not sure if you are interested in swaps though.
  7. In newer cars..... you just don't get 'that feeling'. The chassis design is governed by modern safety rules, there are numerous electrical features that are unnecessary for a 'drivers car', and they feel really muted. In my opinion they will never match the 90's cars. The 90's Japanese supercars (such as Skyline GT-R, Toyota Supra TT, Honda NSX etc) were over-engineered to respond well to tuning and they almost feel as though they are alive, they just have a lot more character.
  8. Very hard to find a decent example of an r32 gtr on the local market, let alone a car with factory chassis and panel condition (e.g. no repair history)
  9. yes used that socket but ABS booster is in the road and the heat shield for the manifold. Had to use a hole heap of extensions and joints lolz. ended up having to take off my strut brace to screw new one in (I hand screwed it in as didn't want to risk cross-threading).
  10. Been getting 300-350 kms out of a tank(usually 500kms minimum) So just changed o2 sensor. Prick of a job due to barely any room. Hopefully the new one will sort the problem.
  11. When my ADM S15 was completely bog stock... I beat an R34 GT-T which had full exhaust by a good car length. A 25GT would be painfullyyyyyy slow....and it wouldn't be very chuckable given how heavy they are. They really are a boat in NA form. If I was you, I'd get a Honda S2000 for a P-plater car.... it is a true drivers car being a highly strung NA and is very quick. Full exhaust and extractors, opened up air intake, ECU and you'd have a lottttttttt of fun. They handle a lot better out of the box as well.
  12. Go for the UZZ32 Soarer with the active suspension I reckon. The V8's have huge potential as well..... there are people in the states who have gotten 2000hp out of them.
  13. The approval for "BI Skyline R33 2dr" as listed on the compliance plate in question, was under import approval number 13104 for Bennetts Imports Pty Ltd But yes the date doesn't seem to match up to when they were given an ABN =S
  14. Miguelone, I initially raised the alarm bells to T4NK... I have typed in the chassis number off the blue plate to fast (aka the jap VIN Code) and the model number that has came up on FAST is different to the model number listed on the blue plate. As soon as I enter the chassis number, and click OK, the model number comes up exactly the same EXCEPT for the fact the second last letter "G" (which is before the J) becomes a " - " . The paint is then listed as QM1, when really, the paint is a different factory colour. I have entered both the chassis number and model number at the same time and same thing happens. =S
  15. Yep, defs me being lazy reading lol!! Completely missed that.
  16. Roy, someone with an SR20 is making full boost by 3300rpm with a 7064. Scott, no need for T3 twin scroll imo. From what I've seen a T4 Twin Scroll 1.05 A/R EWG will spool faster than T3 open scroll...and is better across the whole rev range. I would be opting for that option if I go an EFR...
  17. Sounds like I need to plan a roadtrip to the Stuart Highway.
  18. is the efr 7064 good for 560hp "At the wheels" or at the flywheel??? im talking t4 twin scroll with 1.05 A/r and dual wastegates
  19. The 300zx has an incredible chassis, especially with regard to high speed stability, not to mention the motor is extremely capable. The JUN/Blitz 300zx set the record in Bonneville in E/BMS class in 1991 at 419kmh. Jun came back with the Supra RZ and only managed 401kmh.... Was also several peoples car of choice in the Mid Night Club in Japan for high speed Wangan runs... A much more capable car than a GTS-T.
  20. +1 Regularly $1.75 around here
  21. I thought this was very much worthy of sharing. Today, I attended a combined cruise through Wiseman's Ferry with several people from TeamS15 (of which I'm a member of) and an FT86 car club. All those in attendance would be considered a young group of car enthusiasts, with the age range of us predominately in the early to mid twenties. Everyone who attended the cruise had a very good attitude and had respect for not only their own vehicles, but for everyone else. A few of the vehicles in attendance were quite nicely modified. Before turning right to head towards Wiseman's Ferry, there was an RBT setup with around four or five highway patrol vehicles. We were all pulled in to the RBT setup (as was everyone who went past, regardless of vehicle). They mentioned the purpose of the stop is for RBT, and it was just that. A few questions were asked, the breath tests were conducted and after a quick lookover of some of the modified vehicles, we were able to go on our way. Every one of us was courteous and polite to the HWP, and one of them even took very lightly to a few jokes. The HWP were very professional, and also showed interest in the cars we were all driving. Every one of us had nothing but praise for the HWP that were responsible for the RBT station.
  22. Hi Ken, Cheers! As for your questions: Super resin polish - it is lightlyyyy abrasive but its downfall is it contains a lot of fillers. After you polish these fillers will be left to hide swirls or scratches. If you want to remove scratches completely you'd use a different product. Hd wax - I am not too familiar with the HD wax...but if it is priced at $85 I assume it would be a good carnauba based wax. I use Dodo juice supernatural carnauba wax (can get it from the UK for an ok price) applied over a base of AMMO NYC sealant (sealant is applied, buffed off with MF towel, left to cure for 24 hrs to bond to the paint, then I apply wax over the top). It is a really good wax and makes the paint absolutely look like glass, but it shares the downfall of any carnauba wax is it attracts a lot of dust. I'll only need to have taken the car out once or twice and there will be a fine layer of dust sitting on the car.
  23. Can this be road-registered? Cool car
  24. Sigh, only renewed my membership in August. Would of waited it out if I had of known.....lol Orido is one of my favourite drivers, but can't justify forking out for another year membership considering funds are tight as a uni student.
  25. Mike Phillips has recommended 10% IPA for wipedowns from memory.... based on the advice of his friends who are involved in chemistry. I gave the car a wash after compounding, then used 15% IPA for wipedowns thereafter.
