  1. Hmm, did he post it on here? Wonder if it came off this in the first place haha.
  2. Thanks mate! Yeah I managed to find a somewhat detailed thread how ever it involved pulling the motor which i'd rather avoid. Yep its Steven's, still waiting on him to get the roadworthy, never mentioned anything about an LSD, I'll have to ask him about it.
  3. Now apart of the stagea family Hi all, Been apart of this forum for a few years now which has been very valuable after owning a couple R34s in the past. Times have changed and I need something practical for work, fun and wouldn't break the bank, so long behold I just put a deposit on a stagea! Car is in great nick and has a fair few goodies on it according to one of my mates that also own's an NM35. Only downside is that it has the dreaded turbo whine not excessively loud and still performs fine, which I expected from any M35 that hadn't had its turbo rebuilt at some point and allowed for in my budget. What i wanted to know is if someone could give me a brief run down on there experience and whats involved in removing the turbo without pulling the motor (special tools required, part removal sequence). Car also has one of scottys dump pipes. I haven't had a chance to look under the car yet to see whats required but when the time comes I plan on posting a detailed DIY seeing as no ones done it yet. Cheers,
  4. Never used plates, bought them with the intention of importing a Gt-t, but then decided to get a GTR instead, making them of no use for me. $700 ono
  5. Thats good to hear haha, is that the bar that requires a GTR bonnet + reo and brackets?
  6. Been looking into front bars from viva garage, what the quality like mate? did it fit well? Looks great
  7. That looks mint, what was the deal with mounting it? Original holes or did you have to drill new ones?
  8. Oh that sounds awesome, most i've seen online look very average. Would you happen to have details of said body shop?
  9. hey burger whats the quality of there stuff like? been searching for a reasonable knock off GTR wing for a while and they look pretty decent. sorry to hijack your thread.
  10. car looks wicked mate, love the plates!
  11. Hey longz, Happen to have any photos of the R34 Gtr wing?
  12. Well i know its been along time since theres been any activity on this thread but hey guess what, after making the fatefull choice of buying a commodore after the skyline incident im now back on the skyline bandwagon! Any suggestions for a nice set of wheels and size fitment for my new Bayside blue GT-V coupe?
  13. no need to worry about the rims anymore had to cancel the order, got T-boned last week and the cars written off FUUUUUUUU, no more skyline for me
  14. just BC coils? thats what i need to get next went in and ordered my rims today, yewwwww
  15. that fitment looks mad dude as does the car, are you running coilovers?
  16. i know the site is mad, some of the rims and body kit choices on these cars look balls but its so helpfull. i've come the conclusion im going to run with 18x8.5 +35 fronts and 18x9.5+32 rears as this seems to be the better offset Lenso has to offer without me having to touch the gaurds
  17. yeah im going 18's now, just need to sort out a decent offset
  18. Valid Point. Seeing as 18's dont change the overall diameter of the wheel as GTSBoy said, if i were to run 18's what would be a reasonable offset that will allow me to get away with rolling?
  19. Cheers mate saw that thread a while ago and completely forgot about it, i think ill be running with 17's
  20. in terms of offset for a 17" wheel what would you recommend? another random question are the guards the same size between coupe and 4 door models? Sorry im a bit of a noob when it comes to skylines this is my first one, used to working on kingswoods and commodores, thankgod i don't anymore
  21. i think im with you GTSBoy, i think ill run with the 17's but being only an inch bigger than the factory 16's I hope they dont look to small in the gaurds, would there be any problems with 18s scrubbing? As for width im going 8"s on the front and 9.5"s on the back
  22. Hey Guys, Im in the process of looking for rims and i think im going to go for Lenso D1R's, just curious as to whether im better off going for 18"s or 17"s? I just dont know which ones will fit better and fill up the guards nicely. Cheers
