  9. DIY perspex No but seriously, if you spend a bit of time, you can make something nice. Many materials to choose from. Ive had some ridiculous ideas for bits, like timber
  10. Just get one of those covers Richard has, it looks coooool.
  11. So just print the form and turn up? Not real clear about helmet in the regs, need one in the skyline? Sounds like a lot of fun for $40
  12. Ive read this thread and cant hold back. You guys are suckers. Is it because your lazy, or too afraid to DIY? Go buy yourself a welder, costs less than what your spending with this loser. Buy something useful and keep it. Thats why i dont let many people touch my car, its expensive, and most of them are going to do a shit job anyway. Pity the FOOLS!

  14. Nice to drive with you Rob Zorst looks sweet, sounds good too, it doesnt hum or blat, and it doesnt hiss, its good. should see mine, but it works fine.
  15. Drove to Cooma and back, first decent highway trip in it, nice and smooth, no overheating, seems all good. Popped out of 5th a couple of times, does this in third too, feels like the detent is worn or something. Maybe during the bodgy conversion from auto, the shifter hole wasnt cut right. must look closer.

  19. At least an hour and a half drive there, too long for my boy. Ill still come if the weather is reasonable, doesnt have to be perfect, just not a blizzard for example. I better bring some food & drink, that runways in the middle of nowhere. See you in the morning Rob......
  20. Might cruise with you Rob. Later leaving time suits me better. Might bring the boy, gotta weigh up trip time vs fun time for him. So ill come down to roadway about 9:30? or give us a call? And people please note: the airport isnt the one in Cooma, its about 20k after Cooma, on the road to Jindabyne
  21. Would these help? The seatbelt mount is on these brackets. for r32 Im too tall to use them, with a helmet on. They are std height.
  22. Induction pipe: Seatbelt buckle: New pedals:
  23. Yes, ive got it mounted on the rear left seat mount, its a tight fit next to the seat but it works. Thanks man, i put in a lot of effort, but its still a backyard, diy, with hand tools. I cant wait to do a paint job, then it will look the buisness!
  24. Thanks guys, Rob gave me an alloy induction pipe, it needed to be a little shorter, so i got 50mm chopped out of it and welded back together. Got the dremel and cleaned up the inside, messy welds and a bit of pipe were in there. Should have got some photos of the install but anyway.... got a perfect bit of hose for the bov return, from supercheaps radiator hose selection, you can browse as there all on the shelf. The cold airbox had to be trimmed back, and the washer bottle is gone, so now the filter can fit in there. Got a universal washer bottle but i still need to mount it, kind of undecided where its going.
  25. Do you? Would be better if you didnt. Give it a try. Could save a lot of hassle.
