  1. that is so f*cking awesome. love the shape of the Z06.
  2. for sale ad doesn't mention the custom headlights and oh my god that is sexy.
  3. If only... haha.. Wouldn't touch one unless they had solid evidence of correct odometer.
  4. speak to chef, just import one. don't go through the heartache of potentially buying a car done 4x advertised km's and dealing with slimey individuals..
  5. You need to buy a 20ft caravan and tow it with a AU falcon to get into the grey nomad club.. f**k those people frustrate me so much on the highway!
  6. you look very pleased with yourself in this picture lol
  7. looks like a hilux dad rooted a 120 series prado mum and had a ugly as f**k kid.
  8. i thought stock levels would be the case - can definitely understand that. i would feel the same too with consignment.
  9. what sort of power are you making atw with the s/c?
  10. Mark speaks the truth. I know a bloke in the US that had BMW wheels on his G35 and it looked sick.
  11. i saw Keith Litter make a post saying the bloke elected should do our community proud and some other stuff, he knows what he's talking about from what i've seen. But yes, Boz, please spill the beans
  12. i can't remember where the build plate is on the V35 but i'm assuming under the bonnet on the firewall or on the side panel near battery.
  13. Pleased to hear this was cleared up. It's not good hearing this sort of thing happening to reputable dealerships. Joe may i ask why you sell some of your cars on consignment? i've been in used cars for several years before i moved to new vehicle sales, my dealership ended up scrapping the consignment part of things due to legalities and i guess in your case it'd be difficult to tell if km's are genuine without doing a proper investigation.
  14. may i ask what month 2005 it was built? i believe the very late 05 models were built with the CD009 gearboxes which is a very big point that you should clarify.
  15. can't see pic due to work computer but there was an R34 up here in Mackay that was apparently heavily worked and had camouflage paint it didn't look all that bad..
  16. i think i saw the same car the other day in Townsville as i did that night, black R34 GTR VSPEC II with gold varrstoen's (had no volk sticker so doubt genuine). looked mint.
  17. Is this car in Townsville at the moment because I am almost positive I drove past one last night as I'm up here. Saw GTR badge at front and had LED 34 tails. Was also black.
  18. yep buy a v36 for sure. try to get one with all the options.
  19. Purchasing a V35: If i were to buy one again, i'd definitely import it. As Andrew says above it would be extremely rare to find a genuine low km V35 in the country. Fuel consumption: i found while owning one was quite good. Whilst i used to drive quite spirited i still managed to get around 500km to the tank. Servicing cost: whatever the cost of oils and filters. I always serviced it myself. Parts: cost of parts is what you'd expect for an import. in saying that, parts are never cheap. Insurance: my insurance was really expensive, 21 yr old with loss of licence. cost me $2200 per year with RACQ which was the cheapest quote i got between a whole bunch of companies. ADVICE: if you are in the market to buy a V35 i'd definitely try to source a 2006-2007 model which has the upgraded CD009 gearbox. Reason being, the CD001 (2003-2005) is well known for having 3rd & 5th synchro issues after travelling around 80,000km (at least that's when mine shit itself) and have the projector beam headlights with a couple of other goodies. I unfortunately sold my coupe a few months ago but i tell you what man i was definitely not happy to sell it. It's the type of car that you can easily fall in love with. In my work i drive different cars all the time so they don't really excite me - but owning a V35 is definitely something i'd consider doing again. The thing i love most about my old car is that it was unique, powerful (for a N/A) and a real head turner. I'd get compliments all the time, it was great. Reliability was great, apart from 3rd and 5th gear shitting themselves i had not 1 drama with the car in the little over a year of owning it. The VQ35 is an awesome motor and i have seen the Americans do over 200,000 miles in them which is amazing. Goodluck with your purchase. P.S Don't put Infiniti badges on it when you buy one..
