  1. there is a lot of money to be made in being dodgy c*nts. they don't care whether or not they sell genuine cars. take for example ed lee's "testimonials" where he asks customers whether or not they're happy with their purchase etc etc.. those are just trophies of innocent people they've buried. you guys should watch "Suckers" made by peacock films...
  2. my mate got a heap of work done to his v35 (was in workshop for about 6 months without getting driven) after he picked it up and drove it he had a ticking noise coming from the motor constantly. during idle and acceleration. i have heard people say it comes from the "lifters" due to not having much oil in the engine. not sure if that's true or not but after he did a service the oil looked like shit and the ticking noise stopped. i'll watch video tonight when i get home but i daresay it's probably something similar, go and check your oil levels
  3. i forget his name but there was loads of dramas. lol i'm getting several thousand. good investment though, that picture is really clear.
  4. Can't see video on work computer but when was the last time you did a service?
  5. who's your builder? Emma's dad used the bloke that did a couple of the houses around yours i think and he made mistakes with our new house. pic looks awesome, what'd that camera cost u?
  6. i didn't mean actually writing XXX but i meant writing any combination of numbers that wasn't rounded.
  7. you'd think they'd make it 134 xxx km's rather than 134,000 neat. every time i see even numbers like that i think it's dodgy.
  8. have seen this getting shared around facebook by a whole bunch of people. what a laugh, surely they're taking the piss.
  9. yeah i was going to say it looks American because of the badge but then again it's just like chev badges on commodores with infiniti badges on nissans...
  10. nice nice, there's not too many on the market that are already modified. But plenty standard ones available on the used market.
  11. awesome man. i have a good mate with a G6E turbo running around 550rwhp bigger turbo etc sounds nuts and has mega torque. Good looking car have nice features and are pretty affordable and as you say you can get really good numbers with not alot of money to be spent. I wouldn't mind one myself to be honest lol
  12. no dramas man. what are you getting into now? ah yes i do remember that noise haha.
  13. no more Skyline Ben i saw your FJ coming around the corner today near work, looks mean. and cal i saw the outside of your new place on the weekend, looks awesome. good spot too.
  14. awesome Matt good to hear you sold it. Such a good looking car. Whoever bought it got a clean example for a great price.
  15. I owned my V35 Coupe for over a year on my green P's (21 y/o) and got pulled over several times by police with no issues. Last time i checked QLD transport website says it's unclassified so it's not banned just yet. Not all P platers drive like tools, it's the minority that makes the rest of us look bad. Much like this "hoon" saga going around the internet. I was always a safe driver in my coupe because i was too scared to damage something i loved.
  16. i think he'd have more luck selling it as it is. some people like buying mildly modified cars, since this has only really got wheels lights and a couple of other things it's really trastefully modified and the price point isn't over the top. i am surprised it's still on the market, have you been spamming the shit out of facebook? that's how i sold mine dude.
  17. it's a good point you make Andrew but sometimes people can actually do 100,000km and still have a mint car. Like for instance the red v36 above, grade 4 done 100,000 and it looks clean as. To the average person you'd probably believe that it's done 34,000km given the condition/age. but i do understand what you mean when you check things like the seat bolsters, steering wheel and gear knob for instance it can give you a pretty good idea. this shit of winding back km's has to stop.
  18. i'd buy one just for the braaaaap braaaaaaaap braaap
  19. oh shiiiiit ^^^^ how did you get hold of those de reg certs? very good info that's for sure. pretty shocking how they can sell a V36 done just over 100,000km and display it as 34,000. that's criminal.
  20. sounds like you have a leak. ticking in the engine could be the lifters ticking = low oil = get it serviced!
  21. people need to realise that Redbook offer a ROUGH guide to the value of ones car. I sell new cars myself and i sometimes hear the same old "but redbook says my car is worth x" but the reality is Redbook bases their prices between x and x with the km's between x and x and what they don't consider is that EVERY used car is different. Different accessories, damage, km's, owners, thrashed/not thrashed and not to mention how the market is. At the end of the day Redbook don't buy cars..
  22. Lol GTR badge on the rear same with Infiniti G35 badges paired with hellaflush stickers on stock suspension/wheels = f*ckhead owner. all that paperwork says G35 on it too, shit people are dumb.
