I did the 10 year renewal when I got full licence. I realised it wasnt a discount but it was worth it, not having to go back to vicroads for 10years. Though my licence card is all sorts of f**ked up, need a new one with 4 years left on expiry.

Speaking of folding... TV2 still around and somehow above 1c
-
Or youve removed ABS and your brakes aren't balanced properly and lock up exceptionally easy
-
what was your TV2 buy-in? you can always just set a high sell order and let it sit there until lucky day of announcement and might get close.

Engine Rebuild Options
Leroy Peterson replied to No Crust Racing's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
IMO (from FWD SR experience): dont bother with intake manifold. What do you plan to gain? plenty of people making big numbers and do fine with stock intake. Just adds extra work/complications with throttle + idle air + OEM equipment access/clearance. mild turbo cams, or even give OEM a go and see how it handles, can always upgrade later. Put effort/money into valvetrain a bit for 300kw. springs etc. No VCT and no VE, so would be worth port matching intake and exhaust. GTX30 gen2 should have no issues getting to 300kw. Most people say the GTX dont really wake-up until 20+psi. Top feed injector conversion? might be cheaper/easier to source ideal injectors that way. Just make sure cooling/oil is up to scratch. No point in power without reliability.- 23 replies

88E artificial lift should yield decent results considering they tried the crazy thing of doing it without it... Farm out this year for conventional... I don't see any reason to sell tbh. I'm just waiting for taxman I guess. Most of my stuff is over 12 months old now, but still got a large packet from when it was 1.6c. If it gets to 5-10c on a huge spike, I might sell a few with intention to buy back in lower. But at the moment I'm just chillin

My sister got a 2 bdr townhouse near the big Park in dandy for $540k I think. It's a nice place in a quiet and non-dodgy spot. But it's a small place with no grass. Theres still so many sketchy dream boats in dandenong shopping centre... And I'm working in Hampton Park at the moment and no way would I live here. Theres like a house fire nearby every fortnight, an abandoned shopping centre right next to a new one, someone got shot 10 times in broad daylight across the road from where I'm working, sketchy people everywhere. And apparently it's still not as ghetto as northern suburbs (Dallas and surrounding suburbs) #privileged #white #middleclass Wouldn't live near the beach again. Grew up mentone/parkdale/edithvale. Traffic is getting worse and it's 20mins longer to drive anywhere compared to other outer city suburbs in the East. No room for new major roads or freeways. Getting rid of the level crossings will certainly improve things, but you always felt bad for not using the beach every week. And if you don't, then it's worth a 10-30mins drive to the beach anyway.

Night. Less traffic and more... Surreal? Malvern East is primo for overpriced houses.

I know a few people who've done it and loved it. But the cars are thrashed, if you care about things being mickey mouse. I did the Mario kart thing and that was the most fun I have had in a looooong time. It's great value.

New project- R32 GTR with VK56DE ?
Leroy Peterson replied to Mr RS's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
There's not many VK's in Australia so I don't think you'll find too much info or knowledge on this forum, unfortunately. -
It's what everyone else does, therefore it must be a good idea! If your current rental is profitable, then you have no reason to sell. Different if you were older or something and wanted dream home.

Well my house had NBN disconnected for 2 weeks while changing ISP. Good times. NBN couldn't remotely do shit with the modem, so had to get a tech out. Then he'd done his work but something else happened (or slow response) and easter break hit. 3 days after holidays it was back on. New router is shit though. Barely get signal on my phone to other side of house through like 3 walls. That's on 2.4Ghz because I disabled 5ghz, 5ghz supposed to be shorter range but will try it and see if signal improves.

Went and inspected a Honda Jazz for the Mrs last night at 5pm. Said I was interested, just needed to discuss details with her etc. Emailed 12pm today saying I will come this afternoon and put a deposit down and it's sold.... Too slow junior. Shits me, but what can you do.

Holy shit jalopnik on mobile is the worst website I've ever been to.

You would think this issue would be noticed fairly quickly and then recalled or at worst, only affected a few months production. Surely ford are on top of it now...

Any fb car group makes me want to go full Rambo. Lots of interest so far in the Triumph. People giving me a hard time over $1000... 25% of the asking price. f*k orf kents

That's a lot of camber from just lowering. The rear end of Z33/V35/M35/G35/M45/Y34/F50 should all be very similar. Americans don't have any M35's so not many brands advertise for them or have test fitted to confirm.

That's shocking, sorry to hear. Obviously breaking and entering is no deterrent to some of these low lifes

Triumph is for sale... it is fun to drive, sounds great. Maybe as a paddock or private road car, hell, even hillclimbs, but driving on the road regularly with it is not very appealing (for me).
