I disagree, RE55S are ok in the wet but yeah they are pretty noisey and EVERY tiny pebble on the road ends up smacking on the inside of the guards....deafening when you first start driving on them but you get used to it... Once you set the stereo about 5 clicks higher

I know the RB25 box is essentially a GTR gearset, but from everything I've seen before the FJ box is stronger than the RB20 one.... maybe I was reading about R31 RB20 boxes

I've got 16*7.0" & 16*8.0" Enkei 7 spokes (dont know the model number and cant be bothered pulling a wheel off to check) +32 on it atm, and Watanabe RS8-2 in 15*6.5" +34 stored away. Just need some SSR Mesh and a set of Volks and then I've got a set of each type of cool rims now lol

Yeah, good idea I never liked the Tekamon bonnet before, but now that I've taken the MR30 one off and refitted the Tekamon bonnet, it actually looks ok....

Yeah, the roofs are too bloody low in the DR30's at least, I have to tilt the seat back a bit to fit and I still touch, but i refuse to adopt the dickhead seat position, I've got a feeling half the reason i don't seem to attract police attention is that my seat is quite upright

Are the alternators on the FJ's the same as any other alternators? Ie something easier to find cheaply second hand?

GTS's were badged as Silhouettes but the GTS2's started as Executives not Silo's (I think... might have been GXE)

I can lock the rear up under heavy braking before the fronts come near locking up, though I think that might have more to do with the diff lol. Dunno what the handbrake is like when the cars moving, never pulled it

Mine need relays, the light coming off them is yellow even though the globes are super whites, needs more juice I think. The MR30 lights were good

When I registered the DR30 they checked the tags on the seatbelts for the ADR compliance
