nsw/act Bilstein Coilovers R33 Gtr $200
darksky34 replied to usmair's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
actually - both front and rears will, but the fronts will sit much lower because of the spring rates designed for the 4WD GTRs...if what reading other threads correctly lead me to believe -
nsw/act Bilstein Coilovers R33 Gtr $200
darksky34 replied to usmair's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
argh too bad they won't fit on a GTT!?!?!?!? -
haha yeah i'm actual a local of that area too, so i know what you mean. and yes i totally understand what you mean, I often feel the rage building when driving....but then again I'll have to admit, as bored33 said, that of course from time to time i may go over the limit. on the other hand let's say lane cove rd (for the locals again) if i'm going at 70 and that's the limit and it's not signposted to keep left, then i really see no problem going at 70 in the right lane (out of 3 lanes) as nobody should be going above 70 anyway. so, that may be selfish but who's more selfish; me, doing the limit (and nothing wrong, really) or the speeding X5/pajero/evoque who could cause an accident down the road?

@T4NK where in the document did it say give way to people on the right (did i miss that part?) it advises you 'on entry' 'on turning left' 'on turning right' etc etc...but never once mentions give way to people on your right - ONLY to give way to people already in. of course, i may have misread it. @Matt would you be angry if i was in the right hand lane doing 70, when the limit is 70?
-
interesting read, though i already could guess what most of them would be. learnt something too: i always thought you're meant to give way to whoever is on the right, in a roundabout but apparently there is no such rule, only 'give way to whoever is in first' ---> so everybody, first in first served! That's pretty stupid TBH. Should be a directional give way rule. http://smh.drive.com.au/the-10-most-misunderstood-road-rules-in-nsw-revealed-20130205-2dvlc.html link to top 10 list is in the article above.

Troy. if you make the skyline logo on the floor mats light up, I would nearly kiss you.......ok maybe just a hug. so yes show us pics!
-
I believe the GTR front height is different to the GTT so the rears would fit but not the fronts. not sure if correct, this is based off what i read (which i only vaguely remember) from reading a bilstein shocks thread recently. so as much as i'd like to grab these off you, i also have a GTT (2 door) though, so it would require a fair bit of work to re-valve or whatever to get these to fit properly.

correct, that is pretty much all you want. cooling pro from justjap also seems to be alright.

R34 Gtt Shopping List - Wtb Bits And Pieces
darksky34 replied to darksky34's topic in New South Wales
Another update. Items still required. Bump + update(s) Armrest centre console lid - my hinge is half snapped Need a new rear driver-side speaker mesh cover in the back, the ones that are on the parcel shelf at the back - Haven't checked if this is removable by itself, so if not, may need an entirely new parcel shelf Driver side rain shield - weather shield. will take offers for both passenger + driver. also do not mind if aftermarket. If anybody has an aftermarket centre dash console - from the 3 gauges downwards to the stereo area then welcome to show me some pics and make me an offer, I don't quite like the material of the stock console. If anybody has nismo SMOKED Front bar indicators at all, let me know too. Rear seat covers - make me an offer OR if you have a set of rear seats for sale also let me know. Stock R34 GTT BOV needed -

damn at work now so i can't listen to the vid either, but i had a quick look and it seemed like thats what my tacho does as well. mate was probably right.....(if he reads this then ) car is not ready for any cruises yet, some stuff to still fix up and prepping for some upgrades =)
-
Cool thanks will try that WITH MY CAR OFF tonight maybe! edit: no howling, just a revving noise which is high. as a comparison, being in my friend's 33, at the same 1st gear, 2-3k RPM his engine will be much quieter without the loud revving that will be heard if i was in 1st and at say 3k RPM. which is why I am thinking that is weird. But I will either try and get a video/sound recording. Would be over the weekend though.

GTSBoy, any chance you can elaborate? Still learning my way around the internals
-
haha yes. please. video so i know if it's the same as mine. strange since i have a black GTT too but my mate says it's just that i'm not used to the engine...
