    Gtr r35

Gtr r35 Hi guys. I have no idea if this is in the correct spot but here goes anyway. Im in need of an gtr r35 fuel temperature sensor it sits on the bulkhead next to the fuel pumps. On the out side of the body. It has 2 black wores coming out of it need it asap. Who has one they want to sell. Cheers alex
  2. Aftermarket fuel level sender So suffered the pain of my fuel sender deciding to not do what its designed to do on my 1990 R32 gtst, once i get it working and have a full tank it will be fine until i get to the 1/4 tank mark and it will drop straight to empty. even if i refill the tank to full the gauge wont move. i have taken the sender out and cleaned it but still no dice. I have been looking at Summit fuel sender unit tubes but i'm not sure if they will be compatible as i'm not the most electronically and fuel system sound. does anyone have any previous experience with either my sender issue or the summit ones? any help would be much appreciated cheers
  3. Swirl pot install caution Good evening all, About to do a 2.3L swirl pot install on a R33 Gtst, already have the hardwear, running a single Bosch 044 pump with a Bosh 040 lift pump. Now the install itself if got down to a T, however upon further reasearch on the UK GTR forum's, it's been mentioned about using a larger return line from the swirl to the main tank, in order to prevent the swirl pot from cracking. Any substance to this claim as I'd assure that even by going on something like a -8 that the size of the connection on the fuel sender would still restrict it anyway. Essentally my goal is to do this install without the need to modify the existing sender. All other aspects seem straightforward enough but this is the only thing that has me hesitating. If anyones fitted a swirl to a 33 and modified the sender any info would be appreciated *for the record the same forums said that mine line from lift to swirl and swirl to fuel rails would be fine on the current diameter.
  4. Ok peoples, I'm replacing all my fuel hose with SS braided PTFE (Teflon) AN6 hose. I just want to know what this "Fuel dumper" does (I know it's on the return line to the tank), and can I ditch it? Additional info about my ride that is probably relevant: Tuned for E85 top feed rail with 1000cc injectors TurboSmart FPR feeds this thing Here's a pic from the "replace fuel filter" thread: Any help would be appreciated.. Cheers.
  5. So i'm going to be converting my car to e85 soon because theres a pump near my house and why not. Been looking at items for the fuel system which i'll need and have a couple of questions, will i need an fpr? if so any suggestions? Im looking at getting 700-800cc injectors, preferably on the cheaper side without needing an aftermarket fuel rail any suggestions? i've found these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/121546852066?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIThowever it says they are to suit a top feed rail, is it possible to run a top feed with the standard intake plenum? sorry if they're noob questions, thanks!
  6. Hi All, Just wanted to get every ones advice on a couple of things. currently upgrading the whole fuel system. fuel system will consist of 8an feed and return, turbosmart fpr2000, raceworks surge tank with x2 walbro 460s and 1 walbro 460 in the tank. my question is, from the tank to the surge, im planning to use a push on 5/16 to 6an fitting to get from the tank to the Supply of the surge. is this large enough? if not how should i configure it. Also, regarding the flex sensor which is to go in the return line. the return will be 8an, is the flex sensor in line going to be a 'bottle neck'? car; r32 gtr if it makes a difference. looking forward to hearing feedback, thanks.
  7. Hi im currently building a 1jz vvti s13 drift car and it has come time to decide on a fuel setup. Im just wondering if this looks about right as I only want to do it once I currently have a 60lt fuel cell, aeromotive a1000 FPR (i believe) and x4 bosch ev14 2200 cc's (from my sr setup but I've decided against them in favour of bosch ev14 1000cc's) and was looking to purchase Walbro 450lph f90000274 (the high pressure version) Radium single internal pump e85 surge tank Bosche ev14 1000 cc's BPP fuel rail I was going to run a 1/2" stainless fuel line from surge to rail with a Y piece on the end to x2 -8AN fuel lines, 1 feeding either side of the rail with a -6AN return in the middle to the FPR then a 1/2" return line back to surge tank and possibly a fuel cooler in the surge circuit I currently have an 040 as a lift pump (again from sr) but i believe I shouldn't run a high pressure fuel pump as a lift pump. If so any recommendations for a lift pump? Car will run on e85 between 400 and 540 hp (depending what the car is doing/ how im feeling. Anywhere between 15 and 30psi) which I've seen the walbro 450s are not recommended below 500hp or is that not a concern? And is the f90000274 needed over the low pressure f90000264 pump? Base fuel pressure will be 40-45psi which running 30psi I believe I will be very near exceeding the f90000267's limit but I cant find any specific info on the 2 pumps and differences. Any advice/ discussion? I think i have it right but just want to make sure!
