Tailgating, postwhoring, keeping modz secret, having eyes for ben.... they are all habits which...

1. will get you in to trouble (accept of course the postwhoring :stupid:)

and 2. You really do need to brake them... as some day you too will also have a mini 2rismo in your car :whistling:

You sorta herd correctly...

Mik said to tie it down and they laughed at him, then when it went for about 3k rpm to 7 or 8 in under a second and nearly went flying in to 20+ bystanders, they decided to tie it down and do another run...

But yeah, stock air box... reprezent!

What time did you get there blitz? Didnt see you matey...

I was there for an hour or so, I think I got there around 2pm

Legend you did win your class. I've got some motul oil and a filter to give you whenever I can next see you thanks to UAS.

Beer Baron R32 GTR stock turbo was Andy with 250.5 rwkw so you would have been up there. He is not on the forums yet but joined the club on the day.

R32 GTR aftermarket turbo was Morgs with 364.8rwkw.

Both the R32 GTR categories won Turbosmart oil caps which look pretty trick.

Wilch you better appreciate that trophy - cost a packet. (a packet of chewing gum that is)

dont be scared to use a little punctuation every now and then (full stops etc), it makes it much easier to understand what you're saying

Very nice of you to donate your prize. Living up to your name! :O

thanks mate. haha you know how i think. i have coveted the stock turbo GTR class as last time on UAS dyno got to 253. BUT you have to be in it to win it. and anything can happen on the day, so hats off to Andy, i would love to know what type of mods he has.

and Morgs that is some nasty power mate... love it.

edit: awesome results, thanks for posting up adam.

i am surprised by Kris's result. 290rwkw is a fair whack lower than his last dyno outing. perhaps it wasn't hooking up well in rwd (as i know his car hits boost nice and hard.)? or just different dynos, different figures...

street radials? :O not sure if i'm ready for that yet?!

R32 GTR Stock Turbo – Andy with 250.5rwkw. Turbosmart oil cap.

Dammit. I have 260.3 at the last tune. Damn front diff. Damn damn damn..................

No Stock R34 GTR prize? All someone had to do was show up with one and they would have won

Not sure if sewids car was strapped or not.

Andy has owned the car for about 3 weeks so doesn't know much about it. Has stock ecu but seems chipped with that power. he was quite surprised.

Kris's BNR34 was strapped, wrxhoon's wasn't (and no, I wasn't game to stand in front of it!)

    • Didnt realise RB's had more then 1 head.
    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
