I don't know a lot about the turbos, but I havre read that the 34 turbos are larger (housings) which make them the ideal turbos to hi-flow.

Had a few offers, only one or two who are actually genuine... please do not send me PMs with stupid offers.

Thanks

Stan

the series II r33 is the same turbo as a r34 gtt

it is a little larger that the first series and has a ball bearing core.

the compressor wheel is nylon which is lighter making it spool quicker. most people are scared off by the thought of a 'plastic' wheel in their turbo but it is the exhaust wheel that will spit as a result of running too much boost for a period of time.

both series turbos have ceramic exhaust wheels also to aid in reduced spool up time.

great turbo. i have one on my rb20. very fairly priced at $600.

You can't see it in the photos because it doesn't come with it... this was clearly stated in the first post; sorry about any confusion caused.

Turbo is still up for sale...

This is a great price..

Take this turbo to ATP(Melb) or GCG(Syd) and get a "sierra/sierra" hi-flow. Whack it on you car, install Tomei Poncams and you should see at least 250rwkw.

I have a 33s1, with Tomei Poncams and Head porting, and am making 274rwkw@16psi. Due to std bottom end, i decided not to push the combo any further, till the forgies are installed. Can't wait till i have 20psi, and start to experiment with the adjustable EX and IN cam gears :(. (PM Bassjunky for details on IN cam gear adjustment :), it can be done while still retaining the VCT )

Even in stock form this turbo should make more power on a 33, till you are ready to hi-flow it :)

Good Luck with the sale

Thanks Al

Even though I had very limited understanding of what the above actually meant technically, yeah, what he said :(

All those guys who PMed, I have replied...

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
