Yeah, Guess ill have to get it engeneered.

I got till the 17th to get it engineered.

Im now waiting for a letter from the EPA to tell me what time i have to go for the first inspection to tell me what to do, and then for the final inspection.

Annoying as hell

nuh i got a chipped ECU. Cant tell a diff.

Should i get rid of the Turbo Timer too?

turbo timers arent illegal to have, the way you use it is what makes it illegal

it shouldnt be a problem, but if its easy enough to remove, you might as well do it to save hassles

Really, they opened up your ecu. If it wasnt mentioned on the EPA enfingement notice then they might not worry about it, they'll probally check that it has a stock loom and cover. Also for the hole you had to cut get some steel wire, like what is used to re-frunish chairs and couches(because it is very strong) and shape it to the hole you cut then spot weld it around the outside of the hole. The steel wire is about 5mm thick. This will give the metal the strength it needs. I know from experience. Oh and the turbo wont fly.

I managed to survive the Knox hole of hell the other week. It's like taking a drive to South America and hoping for the best!

If you want any further advice you should just ask r32big_boy.. he might as well work for the EPA.. I think he knows more than they do? :)

Some insane person was telling me a couple of weeks ago about how they ran from Pettett once.. craziest story I think I've ever heard :)

They really ought to give him a desk job before he causes a fatality with his illegal chases and what not.

    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
    • Probably. I take it that they are also mentioned to be for R34 Skyline? For example.... RDA has that part as RDA7957. I have the dimpled and slotted version of that on my car https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/285518478694?srsltid=AfmBOopKxMuAFpsxZJdB1cam4D5RAj1f9yJyOttPZLAwXVNCOiwlhrIy This is DBA's top one piece equivalent https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/364246686631?srsltid=AfmBOorbb0XHQgqTvZLgQPhg70nqJtGvdojKnugum3O2LFSr2h-obp8D
