This is probably a repost but I did a quick search and didn't see it.

R34 GTR Z-Tune vs E46 BMW M3CSL vs 997 Porsche 911 vs E90 BMW M5 vs Lamborghini Gallardo

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3...08689&q=skyline

the japanese driver very most respected.....they can control the car when slideways...it just awesome ..... and also the M5 driver is the one of the D1 judge called Keiichi Tsuchiya, if not mistaken....must respected racer in JP...anyways always love to see the japanese option video !!!!

sweet vid! by the looks of it, the Z tune driver might've been holding back a little for most of the race. he seemed to find more speed on the 2nd half of the last lap.

Tsuchiya was the driver of the M5. the Drift King was at it again!

I havent clicked on the link, but if it's the video Im thinking of, the underpowered (relatively) CSL hits the lead right near the end. This holds up traffic when they hit the straight, as the slowest car is at the front. That is how the cars further back could get such a huge speed advantage on the last straight - they were the only ones who could use full power on corner exit. There was no 100hp gain for the Z tune, just traffic for the others. Who knows, the M5 might have won if the CSL didn't block it. It has 500hp and 7 gears afterall.

Or it's a different video.

If he did it would have been a bit pointless.

Nismo's brief was to build a GT-R that could handle a 15 minute track attack session at max attack without going off, so all the ingredients to ensure that the car wouldn't overheat and chuck a wobbly were meant to be there.

I think everyone is taking the race a bit seriously, clearly it's a demonstration done for TV/camera crews.

It's not an indication of their various speeds around the track an M5 can't keep up with a Gallardo or the Z tune.

For relevant times wait till the very end of the clip and the time attack ones are listed in blue.

Lambo: 1:37.537

GTR Z tune 1:37.554

M3 CSL 1:39.938

911 S 1:40.298

M5 1:41.885

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
