WGMG is the stupidity of those workplace relations ads. Example, the dad says "My kid starts his new job next week and there's nothing to stop his employer from ripping him off" and then the workplace ditz says "That's wrong. Parents have to sign their kid's workplace agreement, that's the law and we'll enforce it!" *queue looking busy by talking to someone on a computer and walking around with some paper*. Totally avoids the original issue that employers can rip the kid off, and instead emphasises the fact that the parent has to sign the death warrant (aka workplace agreement) on letting his/her kid get screwed over. Great ad, well worth the likely million dollars in tax payer money it cost to make. Liberal has my vote now! ;)

There is still a minimum award wage....

You cant get fired for not signing a contract.....

Most people these days (in WA at least) are getting paid more than the award wage because of the extremely low unemployment rate (I guess you think this is another bad thing created by the liberal government!)

So.... explain how the kid will get ripped off again.......

well its pretty silly saying - you cant get fired for not signing a contract - if you dont sign it then clearly you cant legally work ??

you dont have to sign the contract if you dont like the conditions - but if you dont sign the contract then you dont get the job.

so pretty much if you want a job, you are bullied into shitty circumstances - like, working sundays with no double time, or no sick / holiday pay. all things that everyday workers in a country like australia should have.

I had no penalty rates under the OLD system - bottom line at the moment, with a labour shortage, employers pay a premium to attract workers

I just hope we dont end up with a slump and go down the same path the US did when Bill Clinton reformed workplace relations there - people working for $6 an hour, and expected to support a family. no good

Jury is out at this stage - its interesting the Labour hasnt come out and said they would scrap the new laws if they were to win...

some little sh#@s thought they would be smart and steal my rays valve caps off my te37's. Had the wheels off the car for a while and the night i put them back on the caps get stolen. Now that grinds the hell out of my gears........$70us to replace. I'll keep an eye out for some little punk riding his bike around the area with blue valve caps that say rays on them.....then i'll have some words :P

'customer service representitives' grind my gears. i have been on the phone to them alllllllllllll day. i received a cheque in the mail from my insurance company, a refund of excess i paid earlier in the year. so its been about a month since it was deposited into my bank account through australia post and i still havent got the money in my bank account yet. so i thought it may be usefull to contact the customer service people at the bank / australia post / my insurance company to see what was going on.

the bank say: they have never received it and have no record of it, so i need to do a trace with australia post.

australia post say: they have done an offline transaction (meaning i didnt put the cheque right onto my efptos card) and it was sent to my bank and thats the most they can tell me, after it is sent to the bank it is no longer in their hands.

so at this point i think - lets just cancell the cheque and get a new one sent out and put it in at the bank.

but nooooooooooo i cant do that because when i call the insurance company - the cheque has allready been presented! (the funds have left the insurance company)

so i am in limbo and not one of the 'customer services officers' or whatever they are called can tell me where my money is.

it is rather frustrating.

what grinds my gears

this acting TC (team co-ordinator) is starting to get the better of me, because what i'm doing now isn't exactly 'acting'. Its more like acting for my supervisor as well as my co-worker who's on annual leave as well as my own position. So technically i'm doing the work for 2.5 people. Dont make me get out the calculator and work out how much i should be earning.

Its definitely getting the better of me today because I chose to take yesterday off sick because i ran the city to surf on Sunday. Workload wise, shouldnt have done that....

People who tell you to get something for them, you put effort and that into getting it, then when you get it, they bitch out and dont want it anymore..

Kids who stand infront of Fast Food Joints and think there cool and try to start a fight, be good if they can put up a good fight once in a while..

oh and one other thing that gmg's... people who think they can treat ya like shit, then expect to buy something off you hahah good luck with that!!!!

I know how you feel . . . It happened to me at wendys yesterday :D

And to add one, WGMG is that my motor isnt finished yet. . . . I want it now!!!! Ive been waiting nearly 6 weeks now and i wanna drive my skyline. . . NOW!!!!!!!!!

Those f**king bogan kernts who live in my apartment building. They never say thank you when you hold the door open. The husband wears a collingwood jacket every where... they litter in the lift. they vandalise cars... their son got tazored outside of the apartments one night by the police

and NOW MY f**kING RACING BIKE HAS GONE MISSING

just found out the security cameras there... are actually just fake cameras...

And for that, I say get stuck into administration. They can't seriously expect you not to be pissed off at them for installing fake cameras, get them to buy you a new one!! :P

1. most of the sujestions on the past 40 something pages, and yes i read them all.

2. The other day i parked my car at the carosel upstairs parking lot. on the way home it started to rain so i instictively stick the wipers on. only to realise that some poor excuse for human life has stolen the wiper blades out of my wipers!!!! who the hell does that?!?

Not only am i now pissed because 2 pieces of metal have left some nice big scratches all over my windscreen but my wind screen is also covered in water and i can bearly see where im going!

very dangerous not to mention lame. Wiper blades are like $10 who the hell would steal them?

Gahh very grinded! :wacko:

      I certainly fall into the annoyed camp, but glad to hear that if it's happening at low boost then I'm not likely going to blow a turbo and end up with metal shards in my oil. Just feels like it prevents me from really driving it without hesitation and "peak" performance. Wonder if it's the VCAM, it did an impressive job of shifting the torque curve and faster spool, but maybe now it's "too fast" and there's too much air for how open the throttle is.  Based on some other threads, will also do some reading on synchronizing the actuators. They are the default actuators that come on the Garrett's and I would think they would be set the same coming from the factory, but if the turbos don't actually work exactly the same way at the same time as previously mentioned, it would be worth making sure the actuators are actuating together properly

      I went down this rabbit hole before, ended up sourcing a motor from the UK (I'm in Japan) which also didn't function correctly. With the original motor, I disassembled it and reassembled it and it works somewhat, sometimes. What I could deduce from all my screwing around is that there is calibration of the gears on the inside of the motor and two ramps on the main gear which activate switches that operate the motor and move the sunroof either to retract into the roof or tilt. Where I got stuck was that, it seemed in my case that one or both of the switches that are activated by the ramp on the gear did not always activate and thus the motor did not move, causing it to sometimes not retract or tilt (apologies, I've forgotten which way it didn't work.).  Of course this part is discontinued at Nissan now, it's the same part in the S15 but no other models. I also contacted the manufacturer of the component for schematics - forgot the name, they're based in Gifu - but they declined to share the information due to being bound by an NDA, sadly. Looking through my pictures now, it seems I last had a crack at this in 2022. See, I so kindly wrote "open" and "close" next to the switches. If you figure it out, please do tell me. Those little switches, with the red buttons may need to be replaced.

      Hi guys, just after some guidance with an R34 sunroof that has stopped working correctly. It still opens and closes perfectly fine, but it no longer tilts/vents up or down. As a result, the rear of the glass now sags a bit as it drops down slightly in order to retract into the roof, but now it can't pop upwards into a flush position. I’ve probed the pins on the back of the switch connector with a multimeter and it seems like both switches (for open/close and tilt/vent) still work correctly. Any ideas on what it could be, or where I should even start in terms of diagnosing? I'm sure someone's had this issue before but I haven't been able to find anything online relating to this specific issue, most of the issues are with the seals leaking or the motor failing entirely. Thanks in advance!
