Diff Gears Suck.

hey ppl,

just wondering if u can change diff gears iv got a r32 gtst/ gts4, it sits on 3500 at 110kms which

results in quite low diff gears i wanna go higher to around 3.7 insted of 4.3 or wat ever they are can this be done.

The gearset from a Stagea appears to be the best you can get - 4.083:1 . Mine now cruises 2900 @ 110.

The crown wheel and pinion can be fairly easily swapped onto the R32's diff centre.

I'm looking at a diff upgrade (lsd rear), but I figure its worth thinking about ratios as well - especially since I take the car interstate fairly regularly.

I have a gts4. I gather than stagea rear diff would be fine, but what about the front diff? Is it as easy as the rear? Is there even a difference b/n the fron and rear diffs?

Any diff gearing from a r200 short nose diff will fit. There are HEAPS of ratios too.

3.69, 3.9, 4.08, 4.11, 4.3....

just swap cw & pinion as said...

If you still haven't fixed your ratio problem i have a gtr r32 front and rear diff that we might be able to swap front and rears crown wheels and pinions on, if you live in Bne and are able to do it on a week end? TXT or phone me if you want. 0401 148 767

I think GTR has longer gear than Stagea, GTR is 4.11.

Do you have a gtst or gts4? If its a gts4 you need to change the front diff's gear as well which is a big job

i only need the rear one though, my cars not 4wd anymore. wat are the diff ratios u have?
