I think its the proto for the v36 skyline

it looks good, but keep in mind it is only a proto. It doesn't have the feel of a skyline more a 350

I miss the circle tail-lights :ermm:

i think the era of the cars we are all used to and love have passed, i guess we can't live in the 90's foreva

would it be available in a turbo version??

They sell these in korea, dont they? cept they call them a Hyundai Tiburon....

Eeerrrrrrm NO. You are thinking of the Tiburon made by Hyundai, nothing to do with Nissan :)

I like the G35 though, nice car. Yeah it's pretty much a replacement for the GTS-T.

One thing we all need to admit is the Skyline as we know it is dead. Welcome to Euro market....

it aint the same anymore - i read that the designer said the new gtr is not really affiliated with the skyline name cos its entirely different.....(i.e the 32-34 gtrs had something in common with the gts's/gt's and the gtsts/gtt's - eg the lights or some of the looks).

Either way, adz is right, the skyline is dead - but perhaps the new model could bring out a new luv affair with the gtr name.

doesnt look bad, but doesnt look like a skyline...same with the GTR Proto...looks sexy n all, but doesnt make me think skyline....more 350z

dont you mean the 350z reminds you of the Skyline or G35 seeing as that came first and not the other way around?

they just have such an aggressive look to them, and look like a more purpose built sports/ race car. I personally would've bought one, but there just a little on the old side.. kinda wanted something newer, still think the 33 looks awesome or i wouldn't have got one lol

Too bad history doest repeat it self in the automotive industry. At least our generation can live to tell the tales of the best of the skyline series. ;) Anyways if nissan really plans on making a gts, i'd doubt they call it a GTS, more like a plain skyline, as it has nothing to do with the GTR, nothing in common. If we prey enough nissan might through in a turbo, but best, a In-line 6, the true JDM style, as the V6 are already pretty much more powerful than RB25 series. VQ30.

Long live the In-line 6!!!!!!!

    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
