"Holidays 2013" so I'd say November.

No backwards compatibility. Not sure why people actually care about this feature. It's not like your old machine suddenly disappears if you buy a new one, and besides the PS2 no machine has ever really done backwards compatibility anyway. The 360 had limited compatibility that was gimped to say the least. I'd rather a machine with no backwards compatibility then gimp a new machine to make it work with old games.

In the plus side, PSN will be doing digital distribution of 'critically acclaimed' PS1, PS2 and PS3 games :)

my ps3 plays 1, 2 and 3 games.

means I only have to have the 1 console plugged in.

and I do play 1 and 2 games on it.

not often, but thats the point.

dont play them enough to have the dedicated console plugged in permanently.

and cbf hooking it all up when I do just want to throw it on.

and you might be able to download it, bit whats the point if I already own it?

Understated? Market share? yes. Critical acclaim? Nope.

Yamazaki has taken 1st at the World Whisky Awards 5 years running now for best single malt and Hibiki has picked it up 4 out of the last 5 years for blended malts.

And yet the Japanese drink their whisky as Mizuwara - 2 parts water to one part whisky in a highball with LOTS of ice.

The 25 is almost flawless. Perfect balance with lovely sweetness off the grains but intense wood flavours from the maturation. Hint of smoke and a touch of peat but not a lot. Mainly dried fruits but at the spicier end of things.

Yep - Japanese whisky produce high quality stuff and have been for quiet some time now. But even the 12yo yamazaki is rather pricy at $85 a bottle (or something like that)

I never put ice - water only if required (usually with the younger whiksies - anything over 18 - usually very minimal to open it up)

or you could pay a smidgen more and buy Glenfiddich 18 year old where a single malt is also aged in the same mix of barrels and using the same process as the Master.

How you get away with charging nearly the same for a 12 year old as an 18 year old when they are aged in an almost identical process is unknown to me... That is some clever marketing.

Marketing depts justifying their existence - very well mind you

I think that Japanese whiskies are way understated from a market share point of view. They are if not already better than some scotch whiskies.

Have 12 yo Yamazaki - very nice - lots of sherry with hints of caramel and sultanas

Yamazaki is beautiful! It's great that it's understated- keeps cost down. :D

I have small ice and big ice. I use ice if it's a warm day and then it's only one small cube to chill a little.

A touch of water opens it up so much more though.

Keen as to get it - just hard to procure in Oz

its color is so deep (better fkn not have any coloring in it :glare: ) - read reviews about it even think it was nominated the best SM in the world over 20yo)

Pphhhh........blends - can't drink blends (been many years since I have)

A touch of water opens it up so much more though.

this is a big factor Tony.

Try your whisky in a Glencairn glass (no ice ok) and add a drop of water, cover it up (with a watch glass cover) and leave for 20mins.....then taste it and thank me later.

They do have some awesome models,

Sadly too expensive of a hobby for me, the real car costs me enough to manage as it is...

Yep, heard that. the one above is just standard R32 GTR model and cost me around $89 + $20 postage IIRC.

I have the R32 VSPECII at home also in crystal white but costs me even more, which is why I'm not buying anymore......for now.

    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
    • In my head it does make sense to be a fuel problem since that is what I touched when cleaning the system. When I was testing with the fuel pressure gauge, the pressure was constantly 2.5 bar with the FPR vacuum removed. When stalling, the pressure was going up to 3.0 bar (which is how it should be on ignition).
    • ECUtalk pages don't mention they support the ABS computer (consult port has more than one CAN), so you might just need a different scan tool. But, I would expect ABS is a different light to the brake warning/handbrake light, do you see an ABS light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key from ACC to IGN? But since you said: I'd have a look at the ABS sensors in the rear hubs to make sure they are not damaged, disconnected etc.
