Unfortunately as time passed things had gotten worse. Mrs S started suffering mentally and physically, from the constant harassment from the presence, to the point that the family doctor started to question if her partner was abusive. She was woken up during the nights with the feeling of someone grabbing her, and on one occasion with a choking sensation. I had made an appointment for someone to cleans the house, but things were so bad that they got a "Pastor" (sp?... a religious person, but not a priest) to come and resolve the situation, 4 days b4 the booking.

I went over the day after, not knowing what had taken place. The moment I spoke to them I knew something "big" had happened, as even Mr S was "shaken" by the previous night’s events. We had a chat, but they refused to go into full detail and I didn't want to make them too uncomfortable.

From what I was told:

- The presence did not like children

- Had an "interest" in Mrs S

- Was in the house for a few years, b4 they moved in.

They said that the cleansing was "full on" and had similarities to the movies, even though the movies are over dramatised. They claimed the experience was definitely life changing and wished they had not experienced the events.

Due to the stress and trauma, they moved out 2 days later and have not returned to live in the house. I spoke to the Pastor, last week, and asked him to revisit the house, as Mr and Mrs S wanted to ensure the presence had not returned. He stated and ensured that the presence had not returned; he blessed the house again and even blessed me. When I asked about the events of the night, he confirmed the presence was focused in the bedroom, but would go into any real details. He refused any financial payment, even refused a donation to his parish.

The house is now for sale.

Even though the presence has gone, the memories are still fresh in the couple’s minds. They felt uncomfortable in the house (in those 2 days after the event) even though all activities had stopped.

A house can not be a “home” unless you feel comfortable :O

That is god damn scary. Glad they have moved and can finally move on with their lives. Hopefully the next tennants have better luck! Did you end up staying any nights and witness any of these events?

wow, just read through this thread, and there are some REALLY bad ideas on how to 'get rid' of the spirit in here....

all you would achieve with alot of these suggestions is to piss it off good and proper....

someone mentioned previously that there are good and bad spirits... this is true... some are there just going about their 'routine' however, there are sometimes also harmful spirits... from what you described in your last account of what was happening, sounds like you came across one of these....

i came across an Australian paranormal forum a while back (via google) that had alot of people on it who knew what they were doing in this field (alot of them work as 'exorcists', or clairvoyants, or mediums etc, or simply live in haunted houses)

i can't remember where the forum was though? Perhaps do a google search of "Australian" "Ghost" "Forums" or something?

Just liked to share a few paragraphs from the bible which decribed the reality of the spiritual realm quite candidly.

From the book of Acts 19:8-20 :-

"For 3 months, Paul (the christian apostle) would go into the synagogue and speak boldly. He had discussions with people to convince them about the kingdom of God. But when some people became stubborn, refused to believe, and had nothing good to say in front of the crowd about the way of Christ, he left them. He took his disciples and held daily discussions in the lecture hall of Tyrannus. This continued for 2 years so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the son of rajab.

God worked unusual miracles through Paul. People would take handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched Paul's skin to those who were sick. Their sicknesses would be cured, and evil spirits would leave them. Some Jews used to travel from place to place and force evil spirits out of people. They tried to use the name of the son of rajab Jesus to force evil spirits out of those who were possessed. These Jews would say, 'I order you to come out in the name of Jesus, whom Paul talks about'.

7 sons of Sceva (a Jewish chief priest), were doing this. But the evil spirit answered them, 'I know Jesus, and I'm acquainted with Paul, but who are you?' Then the man possessed by the evil spirit attacked them. He beat them up so badly that they ran out of that house naked and wounded.

All the Jews and Greeks living in the city of Ephesus heard about this. All of them were filled with awe for the name of the son of rajab Jesus and began to speak very highly about it. Many believers openly admitted their involvement with magical spells and told all the details. Many involved in the occult gathered their books and burned them in front of everyone. They added up the cost of these books and found that they were worth 50,000 silver coins. In this powerful way, the word of the son of rajab was spreading and gaining strength."

AMEN!!!

I'm with ya mate!

The previous owner of my mates house commited suicide in his kitchen.

Some strange things have happened like stuff falling off the table when it was no where near the edge, and other little strange things.

I also tend to have nightmares when I stay overnight which kinda creeps me out. Although I usually am drunk when I stay there.

But he's had nothing anywhere near as bad as this happen. Probably wouldn't stay there if he did.

I know some one whos had pots and pans move around, knives bury themselves up to the handle in doors, lights that all turn on when she left the house and voices that talk to her. She had originally been into clarvoiyance and some other spiritual stuff, and thats why they were bothering her, she just chucked away all her crap, when she got religious and they buggered off.

Not that i know much, i thought garlic and a stake was meant to fix them

    • I know why it happened and I’m embarrassed to say but I was testing the polarity of one of the led bulb to see which side was positive with a 12v battery and that’s when it decided to fry hoping I didn’t damage anything else
    • I came here to note that is a zener diode too base on the info there. Based on that, I'd also be suspicious that replacing it, and it's likely to do the same. A lot of use cases will see it used as either voltage protection, or to create a cheap but relatively stable fixed voltage supply. That would mean it has seen more voltage than it should, and has gone into voltage melt down. If there is something else in the circuit dumping out higher than it should voltages, that needs to be found too. It's quite likely they're trying to use the Zener to limit the voltage that is hitting through to the transistor beside it, so what ever goes to the zener is likely a signal, and they're using the transistor in that circuit to amplify it. Especially as it seems they've also got a capacitor across the zener. Looks like there is meant to be something "noisy" to that zener, and what ever it was, had a melt down. Looking at that picture, it also looks like there's some solder joints that really need redoing, and it might be worth having the whole board properly inspected.  Unfortunately, without being able to stick a multimeter on it, and start tracing it all out, I'm pretty much at a loss now to help. I don't even believe I have a climate control board from an R33 around here to pull apart and see if any of the circuit appears similar to give some ideas.
    • Nah - but you won't find anything on dismantling the seats in any such thing anyway.
    • Could be. Could also be that they sit around broken more. To be fair, you almost never see one driving around. I see more R chassis GTRs than the Renault ones.
    • Yeah. Nah. This is why I said My bold for my double emphasis. We're not talking about cars tuned to the edge of det here. We're talking about normal cars. Flame propagation speed and the amount of energy required to ignite the fuel are not significant factors when running at 1500-4000 rpm, and medium to light loads, like nearly every car on the road (except twin cab utes which are driven at 6k and 100% load all the time). There is no shortage of ignition energy available in any petrol engine. If there was, we'd all be in deep shit. The calorific value, on a volume basis, is significantly different, between 98 and 91, and that turns up immediately in consumption numbers. You can see the signal easily if you control for the other variables well enough, and/or collect enough stats. As to not seeing any benefit - we had a couple of EF and EL Falcons in the company fleet back in the late 90s and early 2000s. The EEC IV ECU in those things was particularly good at adding in timing as soon as knock headroom improved, which typically came from putting in some 95 or 98. The responsiveness and power improved noticeably, and the fuel consumption dropped considerably, just from going to 95. Less delta from there to 98 - almost not noticeable, compared to the big differences seen between 91 and 95. Way back in the day, when supermarkets first started selling fuel from their own stations, I did thousands of km in FNQ in a small Toyota. I can't remember if it was a Starlet or an early Yaris. Anyway - the supermarket servos were bringing in cheap fuel from Indonesia, and the other servos were still using locally refined gear. The fuel consumption was typically at least 5%, often as much as 8% worse on the Indo shit, presumably because they had a lot more oxygenated component in the brew, and were probably barely meeting the octane spec. Around the same time or maybe a bit later (like 25 years ago), I could tell the difference between Shell 98 and BP 98, and typically preferred to only use Shell then because the Skyline ran so much better on it. Years later I found the realtionship between them had swapped, as a consequence of yet more refinery closures. So I've only used BP 98 since. Although, I must say that I could not fault the odd tank of United 98 that I've run. It's probably the same stuff. It is also very important to remember that these findings are often dependent on region. With most of the refineries in Oz now dead, there's less variability in local stuff, and he majority of our fuels are not even refined here any more anyway. It probably depends more on which SE Asian refinery is currently cheapest to operate.
