I think after 18 months of floating on this forum it is time to show you all my pride and joy.

It's a 99 rs-four, i imported it stock standard with 37.000 k's and a 4.5 rating at the auction in japan,

I absolutely love this car and wouldn't want anything elese, even though it gives me headaches...

So far i have done the following:

Apexi Pod Filter

Alpine Head unit

Smoked Nismo indicators

R34 GTT 17’’ rims

Pioneer amp, sub, splits

NGK iridium plugs

Defi red racer boost gauge

Tein s-tech springs

Bilstein shocks

Gates radiator hoses

Hid xenon head lights

Apart from that i am still waiting for my fujitsubo legalis R to come from japan at the end of the month, and going to put in a gfb plumb back bov

I think thats all, im still forever chasing either a dayz or 260rs front bar and dayz rear lip, allso plan on R34 GTR rims and R33 GTR front seats soon.

Enjoy, let me know what you think.

Another awesome Sydney-based Stagea that's missing out on our Thursday night fun! Eddie, get yourself to our regular weekly cruises up the coast, please!!!

Oh yeah, I love the little parking-assist antenna on our front bumper, too.

whats the arieal ? is that yours ? or it come with it ..

* see Goldzilla's post *

It is there to give the driver a better idea of where the passenger side corner of the car is.

Very helpful at times. :(

Yep, it's a parking assist thing. My cousin has one on his R33 4-door, but his one actually has a switch inside the car so he can extend or retract it, kinda like an electric antenna for the stereo. I'm not sure if Eddie's one does that too, can't tell from the photos.

No my one does not retract, it's fixed, but it does have a stagea badge in the top bubble and is ilumintated with a white led light at night

it did come with the car, it is a factory option.

my stag with one of the work trucks, the truck is nicer to work on but not very nice to drive!!!

massive wheels too ,what are they 50" ;) ,careful where you park :( maybe somebody can hit the mirror of your truck...

stock wheels, suspension and exhaust. They were on loan and I was going to buy them but the dude changed his mind.

plus, driving it to darwin in 2 weeks, coilovers are a bit bouncey for dirt roads

and they were only 18x9s, i dont think they looked big enough anyway

Me got new shoes yesterday for the M35.

ARX rims fill the guards and look great on RX models!!

M35_2.JPG

That looks great! :D Drop it an inch and it will be damn near perfect.

Cheers

Andy

i rekon andy! wanna sell me your suspension?? :D

Silhouette31, M35 RS and RX models DONT have the black 'beard' only the ARX had it. some ARXs that i have seen had the black bits painted the body colour and they look a lot cleaner - no offence to the people that have 'black beard' models!!

the AXIS always has the flares body coloured from what i have seen.

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
