Hey Kevin, welcome to SAU.

I'm guessing that you live in NZ, right? Non-turbo Stageas were not available here in Australia, although I believe there is at least one workshop here working on getting compliance certification for the PM35 with the atmo VQ35.

Nice one, now to find yourself a nice set of wheels to fill out those guards and compliment that kit!

Here is a pic of my RS4-S, owned it now for about two months.

Purchased it dead stock, only just starting to modify it. So far fitted Tein coilovers, rear camber arms, Work emotion 11r's in 18 x 9.5 +15 all round (5mm spacer's) with 235/40 Hankook's, HKS pod etc.

Spent a fair while looking for a optioned up black RS4S, found this mint one owner example.

Came with factory Nismo exhaust, Nismo suspension, option BBS wheels, twin sunroofs, option fog lights, full DAYZ kit etc.

Looks awesome....have not seen a C34 done over it back...nice car.

Why the spacers?

Rubbing issues or to fill the guards more??

A bit of both. I'd much prefer an offset of +10 all round.

I'm still not happy with the fitment and wheel colour, Ive found a set of SSR sp1's in good size and offset so I may snap them up.

I just can't get over how big the guards are on these, my old JZX100 would have struggled to have fit a 9.5 +20!!!

Welcome aboard, Brendan and Ana, adey88 and Dan!

adey88, is that a NSW number plate I can just make out on your car? If so, roughly whereabouts do you live?

yeah its a NSW plate - im from sutherland.... there seems to be a few stags down this way!

I just got home and got done for driving the stag - I am still on my green P's!!!! F*&'N rules....I think its 7 demerit points!!! thinking of selling it now.... I've only had it a few months too

hmm, did that M35 come from SSV here in VIC, Ana?

You don't see too many with the Gialla front bar and side skirts (Nismo or "aero" rear bumper, perhaps?)

lol yep, was not happy when i got it home, the transport company damaged it.

and no idea lol

    • It happens, that's what your single stage filler is used for.  If it is still visible after the 3 coats of 2k primer, it will be visible after the paint is laid down.  Its hard to give 100% perfect advice without being there in person, I'm very tempted to say stop where you are, fill your pin holes with a single stage putty first then keep going.
    • New or used transmission? Alignment will be the same with engine running or not. If new, i'm presuming it's a clutch release bearing size issue. If used, are you certain it's a CD009/A and not an older CD008 or less? They had known synchro issues. In my opinion, these transmissions should always be purchased new, they're dirt cheap and you avoid dealing with old revisions.
    • I like your thinking! Looking forward to see how it turns out.
    • You've got yourself a good old game of have fun. That shit is annoying as hell to remove. Thankfully for you, yours is on metal, most of the stuff I take it off is plastic, so typically hear guns are out. I normally end up continually dragging my thumb with pressure over it to get it to peel up. Eucalyptus oil then works well for getting residue and last remnants off.   Edit: plastic scraper might be worth while too. One that'll dig into the foam tape, but not scratch the paint.
    • So I ride and race motorcycles for fun and have always used a van to transport my track weapons. Figured towing a racebike with a skyline would be different and if done right could - "look fully sik" or quite cool for us grown ups lol. Pic of yours truly on two wheels I also have a trailer already kitted out to transport my bikes ...and I have a spare set of rims that match the car that I was going to rebarrel to get deeper dish at some stage but they have just been gathering dust. Sooooooo it is only logical.... Stay tuned !!
