I know this was discussed at length when the forum was a baby, but can we do away with pictures in sigs again?

They may have been turned on by accident with the new server, but big pics of skylines and half-naked chicks make browsing SAU surprisiningly work unfriendly.

Duncan, it was discussed recently and a decision was made to turn them on.

I agree, i don't like them either (not for the work reason - but the time they can take to load).

For this reason (ie dial-up) we will not be allowing huge ones...the size of meggala's or dark's is a good guide. Anyone with huge ones, or half-naked chicks will be asked to remove them. They're supposed to let ppl express a bit of individuality to their posts - not take up half a page or be pornographic! ;)

As Dox said, there is an option in your user CP to turn them off, if u need to :(

Thanks guys....just to clarify, I can see options to:

Show user's signatures in their posts? yes no

Show user's avatar in their posts? yes no

So, I should turn off all sigs to get everything back to normal? Or is there a way just to stop the pics?

Thanks.

Hmm currently I can only turn these annoying sig pic off with user cp->edit option and set "NO" to Show image attachments and code in Posts.

Just means have to click on the picture to see it instead of showing up in the thread.

Can't always have anything I guess :D

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
