pm sent, shozbot, need your delivery details. unless you want to drive 300km to pick it up and 300km back. RDA told me their courier delivery will deliver anywhere in Australia, so they should be able to deliver to your location

Hi Guys, My apology... another issue came up.

RDA had a look at our orders and from the logistics point of view, as well as looking at how cheap the prices they are giving out the rotors at, it's just not convenient for the head office to hassle each branch managers to get them distributed through branches. So RDA prefers if I do the payment in one lot for the whole 30 people here on group buy, and apply a group freight charge per sale, which is less than $30, I'll ask them with the final confirmed number of rotors if we can reduce that group freight cost down to maybe $25-ish.

Unfortunately this way some people may loose a little bit on freight charge but some will win. However this way everybody gets their rotors in about 2 or 3 busienss days, and it will be a "clean" operation. e.g. nothing gets delivered to the wrong branch, or things gets drop off a branch instead of delivery, etc.

We do have 30+ people with around 40 pairs of rotors, however it's not all 40 rotors are to be sent to NSW or to one branch. I've worked out there are 5 or 6 different pickup locations plus delivery and some location only have 3 or 4 people some have 2. I'll send a pm to everyone on the list on this issue as well just in case you don't read the forum.

If you can work out the approximate costs for each delivery includiong discounts would be good, as if im not making the saving i might have to withdraw my stakes at the group buy as well

sorry

Adam

Guys, the more people stay on group buy, the group freight can be cheaper.

So what I suggest is get everyone to allow $25 on top of their order for freight allowance. If you know each other, you're welcome to combine delivery charge to one address, but that may depend on your location too.

If after the actual delivery freight works out cheaper, then I will refund the differences via netbanking. How does this sound?

If due to location your freight needs to be higher, then I will let you know...

I'm trying my best to make the logistics as painless as possible. I'm not getting paid or profiting at all from this exercise. But if you feel the final price is not giving much savings and wishes to pull out then it's ok, there's no hard feelings, just let me know via pm or email.

Update 12 September 2006:

All of you in the group buy list should already receive a pm in your inbox regarding the payment details. It's a bit long but please take your time to read carefully, make sure again your part no is right (S for slotted G for grooved/dimpled).

If there is no further issue, then I look forward to be able to lodge the bulk order before this week ends.

Once you made transfer you can pm me to let me know. I'm gonna take a break tonight so please don't be alarmed if you don't hear my reply until tomorrow night. As long as you got the right BSB / Accno and

don't forget to include your userID, I will be able to track it on Wednesday / Thu nights. Those who transfer earlier will be able to get their rotors earlier as I will transfer the first batch ASAP to RDA, and those who transfer Friday and/or next week will have to go into the 2nd batch or 3rd batch.

PS: Half of you would receive the deadline Friday with wrong dates (12.09.2006) it should be 15.09.2006 - I've just fixed that halfway through sending the instructions.

Thank's guys, one of the transfers has shown up as "Deposit" (uncleared yet), usually it will clears through tomorrow complete with the comments so I will look after this ASAP.

    • Stock ECU (or more accurately stock tune) absolutely refuses to go over 10psi and behaves like you have seen. The Nistune is the same if it is the stock tune. If the Nistune chip has been tuned, the resulting tune could be literally anything for any combination of parts. The Nistune just makes the stock ECU Tunable.
    • So stock ECU does not like anything above 10 psi?  That Nistune one is just for "try" if it will be any different, I know it need to be tune for that. I know but YOU may know about these problem but i/we dont. They few little Skylines here let alone people who know anything about tham so that is why iam asking here
    • So now we have a radiator with no attachments whatsoever. It lifts up with a particularly tight spot between the drivers side air box mount and the lower radiator outlet, but if you've got this far you will sort that too. This is the lower mounts with the rad out so you can see where the rubber bushes go, it is a straight shot upwards Done! Assembly is the reverse of disassembly, with blood less likely to be shed.
    • Right, onto the second last trick. The Air Con condenser is mounted to the front of the radiator and stays in the car when the radiator is removed. There are 2x 10mm headed self tappers holding the top of the condenser to the radiator, remove those The bottom of the condenser is attached to the radiator with clips. You need to lift the condenser out of those clips and clear (up, then forward). f**ked if  could work out how to do that last bit with the front bumper on. I hope you can, and you share the trick.  Bumper removal probably deserves its own thread one day once I've recovered the will to live, but basically you need to remove the wheels, front inner guard liners (clips and 10mm headed bolts), the self tapper between the guard and the bumper at the rearmost point of the bumper (same as an R32 that bit), any remaining clips at the top/front of the grill, an absolute bastard design with a plate that holds the top of the bumper above the headlight each side (only 1 bolt which is tricky to get to, but the plate catches 2 places on the bumper and must be removed....carefully!) and push clips between the bumper and guard under the headlight. If you've done all that you will be faced with wiring for the fog lights on both sides and in ADM Q50 RS at least, 4 nasty tight plugs on the driver's side for the ADAS stuff. So, the clips at the bottom look like this on drivers side (looking from the front) And on the passenger side (also from the front), you can see this one is already out Clearance on both of these are super tight; the condenser needs to move up but the upper rad support mount prevents that, and the radiator can't move down far because it is (rubber) mounted. Once you achieve the impossible and drop the condenser off those mounts so it does not stop the rad moving, you are good to go
