perhaps i should just not drive at all. the ever tired "had anything to drink tonihgt?" followd by "pop the bonet please"

grrrrrrrrrr

You do not have to pop the hood of your car legally. You can refuse and then they have to bring either a Transport department car out or they have to let you go. Allowing a police officer to enter your car is your own choice. Refuse because if they break something they don’t have to pay for it...

I drive threw Ipswich allot and that is the worst place to own a hot car. If you know the rules you can get out of allot of trouble easy. NEVER agree with anything a cop says & listen to every thing he says and there is a good chance you will leave without a ticket...

I had a failing to stop at a stop sign ticket & a excessive noise ticket discarded because I new the law.

The more you know the less powerfull they are.

How many old rusted out cars do you think they took off the road to make it safer for the rest us.

I'm really oldnnot so grey. I'm 66yostages.lollollol.fotfllh. :P:D

lol maybe i shoulda stayed in tassie, cops never bother you down there, well the place where i lived any way :).

Driving around the city was another matter though, it was just a picking ground for the cops. There just like seaguls when you throw chips out the window, they just have to pounce on it. Pitty you couldn't throw the cops a panadol and they would explode lol.

( Im guessing you people of heard of the Panadol and seagul trick ).

fu da police, f*k f*k f*k da police hahaha\

man i got defected 8 am on a monday on the wat to work the got in shit for being late beat that haha

theres nothing you can do, driving normal, near stock car, nowing your rights, it all means bullshit.....

if you fit in the catagory of 17 to 25 with import the be ready for an ass rapeing at any time, cops can do watever the f*k they want, thats the reality of it all........

They need to find some thing better to do. Go get all the other cars you can drive down the m1 any time and see some old person in a fu*ked up car but because their old they get away with it. Its not right. One other thing has any one been pulled over and been defected for a computer on the side of the road? one more sorry is I had a mate come over the other day and as he was coming down the road a cop was going up the cop turn around and put his lights on my mate pulled into my drive way and so did the cop one of them got out and when over to my mate and the other came over to me and my brother and started on us about our cars in the drive way he started to say that we could not put a bigger exhaust on our cars and that if he saw us out on the road he would pulled us up and defected us for them. At that that ponit the other cop came over to and me being piss off at that time turn around and told him to fu*k off that as they are not over the noise limit that he can't do st*t they took one more look at the cars and they went but as he was getting in the car he turn back around to us and said I'll see you out tonight then. We all when out that night and had no problens but it's fu*ked up that they can do that. any way thats my sorry.

That's a bit stupid shoulda threw up the trespasses will be prosecuted sighn and told them there trespassing lol. Cops up here sound like complete retards, that or they just have nothing else better to do...

some cops are alrite .. its just the anal ones are the crappy ones.. !!.. either they dont like imports with younger aged drivers or .. they rather us all sell our nissans , toyotas and drive commordores.. infact i hardly seen commordores pulled over.. wonder why..?? seems like they are turing racest with import agenda cars..i was defected in my gtr for paint just because i had catanua splash paint i was defected!!.. took it to the court and lost the battle .. as "distracting to other drivers" other stupid things where intercooler , pod (which was enclosed in a box), exhust to big , wheels to big , and now im on one point till next month !.. only thing i could do was sell the cars .. which i did .. and regret.. ..

mind you i never got any red light or speeding tickets (touch wood)

So anyone want to swap a 33,34 skyline for a hypergear and a chaser

    • My thinking is that if the O2 sensor is shot then your entire above described experience is pure placebo.
    • Here is the mess that I made. That filler there was successful in filling dents in that area. But in the middle area. I can feel dents. And I've gone ocer it multiple times with filler. And the filler is no longer there because i accidently sanded it away. I've chased my tail on this job but this is something else lol. So I'm gonna attempt filler one more time and if it doesn't work I'll just high fill primer the door and see where the issues are because guidecoat is of no use atm.
    • Ok, so I think I sort of figured out where I went wrong. So I definitely overthinked it, and I over sanded, which is probably a large part of the problem. to fix it, I ended up tapping some spots that were likely to be high, made them low, filled them in, and I tackled small sections at a time, and it feels a lot better.    I think what confused me as well is you have the bare metal, and some spots darker and some are lighter, and when I run my finger across it, it' would feel like it's a low spot, but I think it's just a transition in different texture from metal to body filler.    When your finger's sliding on the body filler, and crosses over to the bare metal, going back and forth, it feels like it's a low spot. So I kept putting filler there and sanding, but I think it was just a transition in texture, nothing to do with the low or high spot. But the panel's feels a lot better, and I'm just going to end up priming it, and then I'll block it after with guide coat.   Ended up wasting just about all of my filler on this damn door lol
    • -10 is plenty for running to an oil cooler. When you look at oil feeds, like power steering feeds, they're much smaller, and then just a larger hose size to move volume in less pressure. No need for -12. Even on the race cars, like Duncans, and endurance cars, most of them are all running -10 and everything works perfectly fine, temps are under control, and there's no restrictions.
    • Update: O2 sensor in my downpipe turned out to be faulty when I plugged in to the Haltech software. Was getting a "open circuit" warning. Tons of carbon buildup on it, probably from when I was running rich for a while before getting it corrected. Replaced with new unit and test drove again. The shuffle still happens, albeit far less now. I am not able to replicate it as reliably and it no longer happens at the same RPM levels as before. The only time I was able to hear it was in 5th going uphill and another time in 5th where there was no noticeable incline but applying more throttle first sped it up and then cleared it. Then once in 4th when I slightly lifted the throttle going over a bump but cleared right after. My understanding is that with the O2 sensor out, the ECU relies entirely on the MAP tune and isn't able to make its small adjustments based on the sensors reading. All in all, a big improvement, though not the silver bullet. Will try validating the actuators are set up correctly, and potentially setting up shop time to tune the boost controller on closed loop rather than the open loop it is set to now. Think if it's set up on closed loop to take the O2 reading, that should deal with these last bits. Will try to update again as I go.
