Really keen on importing these rims, only come in two flavours though for 18"

18 x 9.5, at +25, and +38 offset

The +25 has a deeper look to the wheels.....

Would i be able to fit as follows:

18 x 9.5 +38 with 235/40/18 Front

18 x 9.5 +25 with 265/35/18 Rear........still looking into 285's as an option too.

guards have been lipped thats all on the r33 gtst coupe.

wouldnt 9.5 inch front be a little to big??

I dont think you will get much response from the car around a turn or bend as opposed to a smaller width rim.

8 inch is perfect for the fronts with 235s..

But i could be wrong so hmm..

Well you can always stretch some 235 over 9.5". This should have decent response, and it gives it more of a Jap look (if you are into that sort of thing).

+38 is a pretty high offset considering that stock is +40. I don't know how much suspension clearance Skylines have, but if it's tight, you would have to go for +25.

They can be made to fit.

HPI also fitted these rims to their R32 4 door gtst. But they did fit wider fibreglass front guards.

But, hell I've seen an R33 GTST with R34 GTR rims on it. Stock guards too, and those fit fine.

I think you'll have problems with the rim contacting the front strut with 9.5 + 25. I've got 9.0 +27 on my Silvia but with an 18mm spacer and it clears with heaps of room... but I'mm also running wide front guards. On an R33 I would say you'd need at least a 10mm spacer to make them fit on the front, but the wheels tires will be sticking out of the guards a bit.

I realise it's an S13 and not R33, but I've found that swapping wheels between R32/R33/S13/S14 are all pretty similar.

R34GTR rims fit most skylines with stock guards coz they're only 18x9 +30. The above Bee*r rims in question 18x9.5 +25 will stick out like dogs balls at the rear. You would need to pump the guards out a fair bit. +38 at the rears will probably just stick out by a couple mm, but being a 9.5 wheel, u will need to see if it clears aftermarket coilovers IF you have them....a few factors to consider but at those specs, don't expect to fit them without minor mods/scraping

Neg camber will cure alot of what you posted... still lipping would be a good idea as would getting narrower tires for the rim to stretch the sidewalls.

You can always try koyo drift teks, they are pretty much identical but come in 8 and 9inch sizes to suit silvias and gtst's. i think they are 8 +30 and 9 +35 aswell as a 9.5 +25. I don't know if they come in 18 though as i've never been interested in anything bigger than 17.

Nope the Koya Driftteks dont come in 18"s only 17"s which sucks, have any of you seen the ROTA P45R??, search it on google and have a look. pretty much identical to bee r's,drifteks etc etc, and they come in lots of different colours, only thing is they have to be imported from usa :nuke:

    • I certainly fall into the annoyed camp, but glad to hear that if it's happening at low boost then I'm not likely going to blow a turbo and end up with metal shards in my oil. Just feels like it prevents me from really driving it without hesitation and "peak" performance. Wonder if it's the VCAM, it did an impressive job of shifting the torque curve and faster spool, but maybe now it's "too fast" and there's too much air for how open the throttle is.  Based on some other threads, will also do some reading on synchronizing the actuators. They are the default actuators that come on the Garrett's and I would think they would be set the same coming from the factory, but if the turbos don't actually work exactly the same way at the same time as previously mentioned, it would be worth making sure the actuators are actuating together properly
    • I went down this rabbit hole before, ended up sourcing a motor from the UK (I'm in Japan) which also didn't function correctly. With the original motor, I disassembled it and reassembled it and it works somewhat, sometimes. What I could deduce from all my screwing around is that there is calibration of the gears on the inside of the motor and two ramps on the main gear which activate switches that operate the motor and move the sunroof either to retract into the roof or tilt. Where I got stuck was that, it seemed in my case that one or both of the switches that are activated by the ramp on the gear did not always activate and thus the motor did not move, causing it to sometimes not retract or tilt (apologies, I've forgotten which way it didn't work.).  Of course this part is discontinued at Nissan now, it's the same part in the S15 but no other models. I also contacted the manufacturer of the component for schematics - forgot the name, they're based in Gifu - but they declined to share the information due to being bound by an NDA, sadly. Looking through my pictures now, it seems I last had a crack at this in 2022. See, I so kindly wrote "open" and "close" next to the switches. If you figure it out, please do tell me. Those little switches, with the red buttons may need to be replaced.
    • It says 300ZX, does that make it an Aus delivered car? Funny how back in the day I just couldn't care less about Z32's and these days I am just in love with them. Back when Nissan was into pushing the envelope. 🤣
    • Hi guys, just after some guidance with an R34 sunroof that has stopped working correctly. It still opens and closes perfectly fine, but it no longer tilts/vents up or down. As a result, the rear of the glass now sags a bit as it drops down slightly in order to retract into the roof, but now it can't pop upwards into a flush position. I’ve probed the pins on the back of the switch connector with a multimeter and it seems like both switches (for open/close and tilt/vent) still work correctly. Any ideas on what it could be, or where I should even start in terms of diagnosing? I'm sure someone's had this issue before but I haven't been able to find anything online relating to this specific issue, most of the issues are with the seals leaking or the motor failing entirely. Thanks in advance!
